β‘οΈπΉπ· π·πΊ πΈπΎ Turkey's Proxy Offensive vs. #Russia and #Syria - Situation at the Beginning of the Day on 28 November 2024β‘οΈ
π Over the past Day, Erdogan's terrorist allies from the Hayat Tahier al Sham (HTS) Group started a surprise offensive in the Idlib Deescalation Zone towards the city of Aleppo and are bringing in large forces.
πΈ According to Reports from the Ground, the terrorists managed to block the key M5 Motorway, which connects Aleppo and Hama. According to preliminary information, they are came close to Aleppo's boundaries, see the southwest of the town on map.
πΈ The HTS Group, which include the Turkistan Islamic Party (TIP), Katiba al-Tawhid wal-Jihad (KTJ) and several other faction groups (see right top on map) has broken through the front by 15 km, occupied strategic heights in direction of Aleppo city and captured tanks and armoured vehicles from the Syrian army. The Syrian military was not capable to hold the lines and fled, leaving the defence of key areas to Russian forces/PMCs.
πΈ There are also Reports of strikes by Russian operational-tactical and strike aircraft against HTS forces, and that HTS are actively using drones for reconnaissance and target designation during their offensive.
πΈ 2 Russian Servicemen were captured by the terrorists during the fights (see Video 2 & 3).
πΈ Russian Aircraft have taken off recently from the Syrian Khmeimim Airbase in support of the SAR Forces and are heading towards Aleppo to strike positions of the pro-Turkish terrorist forces.
πΈ The Map shows the advance of the HTS forces in green.

β‘οΈπ·πΊ πΊπ¦ βοΈOn the Situation in the Kursk Region on 27 November, the 113th Day of the Invasionβ‘οΈ
π΄ In the Border Area, heavy fighting is taking place with the initiative rather on the side of our army.
π΄ In the Areas of #Daryino and #NizhnyKlin, it is reported from the ground that the RFAF assault groups have made significant progress. There, ours are clearing the adjacent forest belts, bringing in forces and deploying EW means. Nevertheless, the AFU are trying to counterattack. Today, tanks repelled three such attempts. The AFU used two APCs and an AFV.
π΄ On #Novoivanovka, there is unconfirmed information that our forces managed to squeeze the AFU garrison and occupy this settlement completely. Then our units are trying to develop an offensive to the south, along the #Korenevo - #Sudzha Motorway in the direction of #Sverdlikovo. This is also very difficult due to the nature of the terrain. Bare fields for many kilometers, there is nowhere to gain a foothold. Ukrainian channels wrote about an attack on a column of our equipment on the #Sudzha Motorway south of #ZelenyShlyakh. According to their version, 4 landing assault vehicles and a tank have been hit.
π΄ In the Area of #Pogrebki, the RFAF have also been advancing in the area near the railway. To the left of the village, our infantry has recaptured the farm.
π΄ In Areas south and east of #Sudzha, our troops continue to attack. There is an advance in the #Plekhovo area, from the direction of #Makhnovka the RFAF entered the forest area and occupied it. From there to #Sudzha it is a little more than 5 km.
π΄ Northeast of #Sudzha, fighters of the Aida Group report detecting and defeating a group of soldiers in NATO uniforms with FPV drones. According to the story, they were discovered by our reconnaissance drone in one of the forest plantations, after which the operator struck the suspected shelter. Soldiers from this unit say that they have repeatedly seen soldiers in NATO uniforms and equipment in this forest belt.
π΄ According to the RF MoD, the AFU lost more than 250 militants in one day. 2 tanks, 1 IFV, 1 APC, 2 AFVs, 3 cars and 1 mortar have been destroyed.

β‘οΈπ·πΊ πΊπ¦ β‘οΈ Two Majors #Summary for the Morning of 28 November 2024; 07:00 (GMT+3)β‘οΈ
πΉIn #Kursk region, the βNorthβ Troops Grouping is engaged in fierce fighting near the #Novoivanovka and #Daryino settlements and in a forest area near the village of #MalayaLoknya.
πΉFrom #ChasovYar, enemy channels report that the RFAF are entrenched on the territory of the Refractory Plant (the main fortification of the AFU in the town), and battles are also being fought over high-rise buildings. The enemy calls the intensification of hostilities 'rapid', concludes that the Russian Army is levelling the front and doing everything to cover #ChasovYar from the south and go through #Stupochki to #Konstantinovka (town).
πΉIn #Kurakhovo direction, our troops are developing success in #Berestki. They π report full control over it. Apparently, the enemy garrison did not withdraw from the settlement until the last, being the last obstacle for the RFAF before occupying the northeastern bank of the Kurakhovskoye Reservoir. South of #Kurakhovo, fighting on the #Romanovka - #Konstantinopolskoye line.
π₯In #Belgorod region, #Belgorod, #Shebekino and the village of #NizhneyeBeryozovoVtoroye in the Shebekinsky municipal district were hit. There were no casualties.
π‘In #Rostov region, two UAVs were destroyed overnight, one each in #Taganrog and #Kamensk. In the #Krasnodar territory, two districts were subjected to a massive drone attack. In #SlavyanskonKuban in the courtyard of a private household, the landlady of the house was injured. A house was damaged in the Chigrina Farm in Krasnoarmeysky district. Over the #Bryansk region, five enemy UAVs of the aircraft type were shot down.
π‘Yesterday's massive UAV Raid and the enemy's use of missiles on π #Crimea was repelled. Repeated attempts of attacks are not excluded, the AFU before the main strike use the tactics of opening our air defence system with the help of #NATO spy planes.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine will have to leave the Kursk region if Kiev does not lower the age of mobilization - AP
βͺοΈ "European allies" said that "the lack of depth (of layered defence) means that it may soon become impossible for Ukraine to continue operating in Russia's border region near Kursk," the agency writes.
βͺοΈβThe situation in the Kursk region has been further complicated by the arrival of thousands of North Korean soldiers who have come to help Moscow reclaim its land,β officials explained.
βͺοΈEarlier it was reported that the Biden administration is calling on Kiev to lower the mobilization age from 25 to 18 years.

π₯ The Fragility of Modern Deterrence: Are We Sleepwalking into Nuclear Armageddon?
(As of writing we are in the midst of a powerful Russian response across Ukraine). Fyodor Lukyanov, in his incisive analysis, points out that the ongoing standoff over Ukraine has effectively become a direct confrontation between Russia and NATO (US), two nuclear-armed entities now operating without the safeguards of Cold War diplomacy. The breakdown of private, backchannel communication, once the cornerstone of managing nuclear deterrence, has given way to comms via public posturing playing out in a media war. This dangerous shift has dramatically increased the likelihood of catastrophic miscalculation.
During the Cold War, an imperfect yet functional system of discreet diplomacy allowed for signals to be sent and received with clarity. Mutual understanding, even between enemies, helped prevent misunderstandings that could have spiraled into nuclear conflict. Today, this critical buffer has evaporated. From the West, contradictory leaks and media noise create confusion (whatβs actual signal vs mere noise?). Meanwhile, Russia has adopted a direct and unambiguous approach, publicly marking its red lines in the absence of trustworthy backchannel diplomacy. However, deterrence is about credibility and when credibility plays out in the public eye, the risks of leaders being forced to act to βprove their threatsβ become exponentially higher.
The Westβs decision to abandon private diplomacy in favor of megaphone posturing reveals a dangerous mix of hubris and short-sightedness. Western leaders are not merely playing to Moscow; theyβre playing to their domestic audiences, their NATO partners, and the MIC that demands perpetual conflict to feed its coffers.
Russia, by contrast, has been forced into a position where clarity is its only shield. Its red lines are laid bare for the world to see, not because it seeks escalation, but because ambiguity has proven fatal in the face of Western doublespeak.
What makes this moment uniquely dangerous is the psychological trap that leaders on both sides now face. Public commitments to βcredibilityβ mean that retreat or compromise is no longer seen as strength but painted as weakness.
The absence of private diplomacy not only erodes trust but also removes the critical mechanisms needed to diffuse crises. A single misstep, a missile strike misinterpreted, an overzealous military commander, or a politician cornered by his own rhetoric could ignite an uncontrollable chain reaction. NATOβs increasingly reckless posture, from Bidenβs authorization of ATACMS strikes deep inside Russiaβs internationally recognized borders to France and the UK greenlighting Storm Shadow and SCALP missiles, is a case in point. Each move nudges us closer to the brink, daring Russia to respond while naively assuming it wonβt.
But Russia has responded. The deployment of the hypersonic-ballistic Oreshnik missile, capable of carrying nuclear warheads, was no mere βcombat test.β It was a calculated signal, a demonstration of Moscowβs resolve to defend its red lines with decisive force. The Westβs strategy, built on the illusion of Russian hesitance, is a catastrophic miscalculation. Moscow has no illusions about whatβs at stake, and its actions reflect a sobering acknowledgment of the existential threat posed by NATOβs provocations.
Unlike the Cold War, this is no longer a game of chess where careful strategy and mutual respect for red lines dictate moves. This is poker, played with nuclear chips, where bluffing and brinkmanship replace logic and restraint. The U.S. and NATO, emboldened by their own propaganda, are gambling that Russia wonβt escalate. But Russia, rooted in a historical memory of existential defense, isnβt playing the Westβs game, itβs prepared for survival.
History will not be kind to those who gamble with humanityβs future for the sake of their own political vanity. Itβs time for the West to step back, not as an act of weakness, but as an acknowledgment of reality.
