Another OBAMA Appointed Judge Shuts Down Trump's Election Integrity Efforts Stopping USPS From Restricting Mail-In Voting.

Boston U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani expanded the block on Trump's push to let the Postal Service refuse mail-in ballots unless states hand over voter lists to prevent voter fraud.

The judge issued a nationwide preliminary injunction today, August 11, 2026, blocking USPS, and related officials, from implementing the key part of Trump's executive order, Section 3 of EO 14399, that would allow restrictions on mail-in ballot deliveries.

This expands her earlier June order, which had only blocked the measures in 23 mostly Democratic-led states, plus D.C.

The Justice Department has already sought Supreme Court intervention on the prior narrower block.
