The Japanese government has announced that it has won the war with floppy disks and now most of the government organizations of this country no longer use floppy disks.
The Japanese government started a war against floppy disks in 2022 and added an amendment to the law that canceled any requirement to send physical memory, including floppy disks and CDs. Now, after two years, this government has said that it has won this war and 1034 legal clauses that forced the use of them have been removed, and now, except for one organization, citizens and businesses do not need to send documents to various organizations in this country. They don't have a floppy disk.
