AMD has unveiled its new generation of desktop processors, the Ryzen 9000 series.
These new processors use TSMC's 4nm manufacturing technology and the Zen 5 architecture, which is between 10 and 35% faster than the previous generation, thanks to various improvements compared to the previous generation.
The new series of AMD processors are still available in 4 models, the most powerful of which is the 9950X, which has 16 cores and 32 threads with a base frequency of 4.3 GHz and a turbo frequency of 5.7 GHz with a power consumption of 170 watts, which is more than the most powerful Intel processor. The next model is the 9900X, which has 12 cores and 24 threads with a base frequency of 4.4 GHz and a turbo frequency of 5.6 GHz with power consumption. It is 120 watts, and it is 50 watts less than the previous generation, which causes it to consume less energy and, as a result, less heat, and makes it easier to cool.
