Embracer Group, a Swedish gaming company, is splitting into three separate publicly traded companies:

1. Middle-earth Enterprises & Friends: Focuses on AAA game development and publishing, retaining ownership of IPs like Tomb Raider, Lord of the Rings, and Dead Island.
2. Asmodee Group: Dedicated to tabletop game publishing and distribution, with titles like Ticket to Ride, CATAN, and licensed games based on Marvel, Star Wars, and more.
3. Coffee Stain & Friends: Focuses on indie, mid-market, and free-to-play games, including properties like Deep Rock Galactic, Goat Simulator, and Valheim.

This move aims to allow each company to focus on its core strategy and offer distinct equity stories for shareholders. The spinoff and share listings are expected to take place within 12 months.
