EA adds Dead Space and Star Wars: Squadrons studio Motive to its Battlefield dev team
Motive, the studio behind the Dead Space remake and Star Wars: Squadrons, is joining Electronic Arts' Battlefield development team to work on expanding the Battlefield universe across connected multiplayer and single-player experiences. The company has also confirmed that the current season of Battlefield 2042 will be its last. Motive's new Battlefield team will be led by Philippe Ducharme and Roman Campos-Oriola. Development on an Iron Man project also continues.

Ready or Not Developer Has 4TB Of Data Stolen Including Full Source Code
Void Interactive, the developers of Ready or Not, have experienced a significant data breach with over 4TB of data stolen, including the game's source code and console builds. The breach was revealed by a ransom group in March, but Void Interactive has not publicly addressed it. Fortunately, no personal information of players or staff members seems to be affected. Insider Gaming has seen the stolen data but has not shared it further. They are awaiting a response from Void Interactive.
