"Another crime of the Kiev regime against freedom of speech and journalism will not be consigned to oblivion by "strategic silence" paid for by Western curators": this is how Maria Zakharova commented on the death of Izvestiya correspondent Alexander Fedorchak in the SMO zone.

"We will not just bring the information to the attention of the relevant international organizations, but will seek their reaction. The OSCE and UNESCO, as well as other specialized international institutions are obliged to react," the Foreign Ministry spokeswoman added, expressing condolences to the journalist's family and friends.

Fedorchak worked on the territory of the LPR and died as a result of an artillery strike by the AFU.

The journalist's last report was aired on March 23. The Izvestiya correspondent worked in Kharkov Region in the Kupyansk direction.

The cameraman of the Zvezda TV channel, Andrey Panov, and the driver of the film crew, Alexander Sirkeli, have been killed in the area of a special military operation, the TV channel has reported.

Позже, 24 марта в 5:30 утра произошёл сильнейший обстрел Донецка НАТОвскими ракетами HIMARS. Могу ошибаться, но я насчитала 10! Что-то я не припомню таких обстрелов, чтоб за один раз столько ракет! А также было совершено целенаправленное убийство нескольких журналистов. Тоже ракетами HIMARS. Хочу напомнить, что это не укропы, а американцы "нажимают кнопки" установок HIMARS. Рассел всегда об этом напоминал. А это значит, что Трамп не может не знать об этих ударах в свете переговоров. Он же претендует на "голубя мира", сваливая всю вину только на предыдущих правителей. Но он же тоже уже один раз был среди этих правителей. И ничего не сделал тогда, чтобы остановить войну.

Эти два последних факта лишь подтверждают то, о чём сказала в интервью. Я не знала, что ответили другие участники опроса. А когда вышла статья, то вижу, что мои ощущения совпадают с мнениями тех ребят, которые сражаются на фронте сейчас.
