The vehicles were positioned on the Muntar hill and its surroundings, and given the area’s high altitude, the Israeli forces completely exposed the neighborhood.
Al-Muntar Street is under Israeli fire control, coinciding with another control over Mansoura Street.
South of Mansoura Street, Wadi Al-Arayes Street, and the area of Hajj Adel Al-Shawa's orchard are dangerous areas and are subject to fire control from artillery and drones.
Al-Sikka Street in Al-Zeitoun neighborhood is exposed from time to time to artillery shelling due to its proximity to Wadi Al-Aris Street.
The eastern areas of the Zeitoun neighborhood, "Biyarat al-Rayyes and the vicinity of the Tunis School," are also subject to continuous artillery shelling from time to time.

A Message from the civilians in Gaza to the world
Dear friends, I am writing to you now as destruction surrounds us on all sides, as explosions still shake the ground beneath our feet, as death walks by us again and again, choosing who to take it with each moment. Last night was not just another night of bombing, it was a nightmare that will never be erased from my memory. We were trembling, clinging to life, whispering our last prayers, waiting for our turn. And the bombing was hell. The walls trembled, hearts raced, and time stood still. As we struggled to cling to some hope, we heard the sounds of people fleeing through the dark streets, escaping the whizzing bullets and the roar of airstrikes. And then, amidst the chaos, a single voice pierced the night, a voice that made my blood run cold and my tears flow uncontrollably: “Baba, I’m so scared.” It was the voice of a terrified child, desperate for safety, for warmth, for a hand to hold in this nightmare. But there was nothing, only rubble, death, and darkness. And the danger is not over yet. A tank stands now on top of Al-Muntar Hill, the place that once held my happiest memories, where I stood and saw all of Gaza stretched out before me. This is now a starting point for destruction. If the tank decides to advance, we will only have ten minutes to escape. Ten minutes to gather all that remains of our lives, to cross the broken streets filled with smoke and debris, to decide our fate between life and death. Here in Shujaiya, we live moment by moment, not knowing if we will see tomorrow or not. We try to survive, we try to cling to life, but all that remains for us is resilience. You have a voice. You have freedom. You have the power to make the world see what we see, hear what we hear. Don’t leave us to burn in silence. Don’t let this death go unnoticed. Tell us about us. Share our stories. Tell the world that we are still here, still struggling to live despite this horror. Pray for us… we need that more than ever.
