For about a week, fighters from the 14th and Givati Brigades and the 9th Battalion have been searching Shabura and Tel Sultan for anti-tank missiles, launchers, and tunnels that were not discovered in previous raids.
Now this raid is expanding to other neighborhoods in the city, to the north.
This is not yet the major ground operation the Israeli military is planning to retake the Strip, which has not yet been fully approved by senior security and political officials, but rather a "little by little" attempt to pressure Hamas into a larger hostage deal.
I suggest not being dazzled by dramatic headlines about the occupation of the Gaza Strip, exaggerated claims, or empty offers that are, at this stage, far removed from the reality on the ground.
