🇮🇱🇬🇧🇫🇷 — NEW: Israeli Elbit Systems has completed the full acquisition of drone maker UAV Tactical Systems (UTACS) in the U.K. and will produce models for customers across Europe at the Leicester plant.

🔴 UTACS was founded as a joint venture between Thales Group and Elbit and built the Watchkeeper, which became fully operational in late 2018.

🔴 Elbit’s takeover follows the British government’s decision to gradually phase Watchkeepers out of service.

🔴 Elbit did not disclose the buyout amount; company says purchase came after receiving all required approvals.

🔴 Elbit’s recent sales include Hermes 900 aircraft to Singapore and it markets SkyStriker loitering munitions plus Skylark and Magni‑X reconnaissance drones.

🇮🇱🇺🇸⚡️ — NEW: Elbit Systems was awarded a $228 million contract to supply its Iron Fist active protection system to General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) for installation on Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles (IFVs).

🔴 The award is a follow-up/extension of prior GD-OTS agreements (initial 24‑month $37m May 2024 award, later a $127m 34‑month extension).

🔴 Iron Fist provides 360-degree protection against Anti‑Tank Rockets (ATR), Anti‑Tank Guided Missiles (ATGM), Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), loitering munitions and Kinetic‑Energy (APFSDS) ammunition.

🔴 Elbit says the system’s low volume/weight/power and near‑zero residual penetration enable integration on lighter vehicles as well as armored platforms.
