🇱🇧🇮🇱 — NEW: The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants filed a complaint to the United Nations accusing Israel of daily violations of the November 2024 ceasefire and breaches of UN Security Council Resolution 1701.

🔴 Complaint includes three tables listing 542, 691 and 803 violations in October, November and December 2025 respectively, totalling 2,036 breaches; calls on the Security Council to compel Israel to completely withdraw beyond the internationally recognised borders, end violations and release Lebanese prisoners.

🔴 Filed a day after Israeli air strikes that killed at least two people; the UN previously put civilian deaths from Israeli attacks in Lebanon at at least 127.

🔴 Beirut says Israel occupies five points inside Lebanese territory, is holding more than a dozen Lebanese prisoners, and Israeli forces have repeatedly opened fire at UNIFIL peacekeepers.
