Press release
Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas)
In response to the biased statements of the US National Security Advisor, which equate the executioner with the victim, and fully adopt the occupation’s narrative, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) affirms the following:
Talking about “Israel’s right to defend itself” is a blatant distortion of reality. The occupier does not have the right to defend its occupation; rather, it is the aggressor in the first place.
The ongoing Zionist aggression against our people for decades, and the crimes of genocide in Gaza, are what call for condemnation and accountability, not justification and support.
The claim that "Hamas chose war over releasing the hostages" is a distortion of the facts. The Palestinian resistance presented clear initiatives for a ceasefire and a comprehensive prisoner exchange deal, but the occupation, led by Netanyahu, rejected them and deliberately sabotaged them to achieve its own political interests, as acknowledged by the leaders of its own security services.
Talk about the possibility of extending the ceasefire if the resistance releases all prisoners deliberately ignores the fact that the occupation was not serious about implementing the terms of the truce, and did not abide by any of its conditions. Rather, it continued its killing, starvation, and siege, which thwarted the understandings and undermined the chances of an extension.
The American statements once again reveal their full complicity in the aggression against our people, and their complicity with the occupation in committing crimes of genocide, starvation, and siege against more than two million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, including thousands of children, women, and innocent civilians.
We affirm that the Palestinian resistance is exercising its legitimate right to defend its people, land, and holy sites against occupation and aggression. Attempts to distort the facts will not succeed in exonerating the occupation of its crimes, nor will they provide Washington with moral cover for its biased policies.
Attempts to distort the facts will not succeed, and history will record who stood with the truth and who colluded with the killing.

Before all the threats to close the business forum, the Histadrut and others
Will there be a constitutional crisis? Little to no chance.
If the Supreme Court rejects the petitions, Ronen Bar has already made it clear that, contrary to what was implied in his letter, he will not remain in office.
If the Supreme Court accepts these nominations, I do not see any candidate who would accept his appointment.
It is likely that in such a scenario, Netanyahu would not invite Barr to the ongoing discussions. However, the chances of this scenario coming true are not particularly high either.

Now the discussion turns to the question of the existence of Supreme Court decisions (especially since its composition has not yet been determined).

🇮🇱 🇵🇸⚡️- Follow-up | Press release issued by the Government Media Office:
As the Israeli occupation army continues its genocide, ethnic cleansing, and holocaust, the occupation is deliberately deepening its systematic policy of starvation and deprivation of water against our defenseless Palestinian people. This is a documented crime aimed at breaking the will to resist and eradicating civilian life, in flagrant violation of all international laws and conventions.
The Israeli occupation has imposed a stifling blockade on the Gaza Strip for 530 days, preventing the delivery of food, water, medicine, and fuel, leading to an unprecedented humanitarian disaster. More than 2.4 million Palestinians face the threat of famine and thirst, amid the destruction of infrastructure and the prevention of relief convoys from reaching the affected areas.
We warn the world of the dire consequences of this criminal policy aimed at slowly killing civilians. We affirm that these practices constitute a crime of genocide punishable under international law, which requires urgent action by the international community and Arab and Islamic countries to end this crime immediately and without conditions or delay.
The international community's silence on these massacres represents a dangerous act of complicity, putting the world to a real test of its credibility in defending human values.
We condemn in the strongest terms the occupation's ongoing crimes, including systematic starvation and thirst, the closure of crossings to and from the Gaza Strip, and the prevention of the entry of humanitarian aid, goods, supplies, food, and fuel. We call on all countries of the world to condemn these systematic crimes against Palestinian civilians.
We hold the Israeli occupation and the US administration fully responsible for these ongoing crimes against civilians, and we call on all countries of the world to pressure the occupation to stop these crimes, open the crossings, and allow aid into the country immediately, before it's too late.
Based on this serious data, we demand the following:
First: We demand immediate international action to halt the policy of starvation and deprivation, and to compel the "Israeli" occupation to allow unhindered access to humanitarian aid.
Second: Activating international accountability tools against the "Israeli" occupation for its crimes, and ensuring that it does not escape punishment.
Third: We call for a unified Arab and Islamic movement to exert political and diplomatic pressure to halt this human massacre against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and we demand the immediate and swift expulsion of the occupation's ambassadors from Arab capitals.
Our steadfast Palestinian people, despite these crimes, will not be broken and will not give up their legitimate rights. They will continue their struggle until they achieve freedom and independence.
