The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) extends its deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the brothers in the Islamic Jihad Movement and its military wing, the Al-Quds Brigades, on the martyrdom of the mujahid commander Naji Abu Yousef (Abu Hamza), the military spokesman of the Al-Quds Brigades, who was martyred as a result of a treacherous Zionist bombardment, after an honorable jihadi career full of giving and sacrifice.
We mourn the martyred leader Abu Hamza to our steadfast Palestinian people, our Arab and Islamic nations, and the free people of the world. We recall his heroic stances and his firm voice, which echoed the victories of the resistance in confronting the brutal occupation and bore witness to its steadfastness in the face of its brutal aggression.
As we mourn the heroic martyr, we pledge to him, as we pledge to all the righteous martyrs of our people, to continue on their path and carry the banner for which they sacrificed their lives, until the occupation is defeated and rights are restored. We also affirm that the enemy's bet on silencing the voice of the resistance is a losing bet, for its voice will remain loud, undeterred by the brutality and terrorism of the occupation, and will continue to defend our people until liberation and return.
