Senior Hamas Delegation Meets Iranian Foreign Minister in Doha

A delegation from the leadership of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, headed by the brother and fighter Khalil al-Hayya, the head of the movement in Gaza, met with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his accompanying delegation in the Qatari capital, Doha, today, Thursday.

The meeting reviewed the political developments and the ongoing Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip, where the occupation continues to commit a genocide crime against our people, crimes of starvation and killing by all brutal means, as well as the imminent dangers to the Palestinian cause and attempts to liquidate it, annex the West Bank, and divide the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The two sides discussed diplomatic contacts aimed at stopping the aggression, through generous efforts by mediators in Egypt and Qatar, and the communications carried out by the movement's leadership in this regard.

The meeting also discussed the Zionist aggression on the Islamic Republic of Iran last June, its effects on the conflict with the occupation, and on the region.

For his part, the Iranian Foreign Minister affirmed his country's firm position regarding the Palestinian cause and the role of the Islamic Republic in this regard.

He confirmed that the Zionist occupation is the enemy of the nation and humanity, saying that this meaning has been confirmed thanks to the steadfastness and sacrifices of the Palestinian people in Gaza.
