The convoy was stopped in the city of Sirte because it did not receive approval from Benghazi to enter its territory. The convoy aims to break the humanitarian blockade imposed by Israel on the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli army is carrying out a large wave of airstrikes in Lebanon, in preparation for a possible attack on Iran in the near future. If such an attack occurs, the prevailing assessment in Israel and the West is that Hezbollah will immediately intervene and unleash whatever remains of its capabilities on Israel. The Israeli army is seeking to curb this attack as much as possible. Documentation: Hezbollah missile depots in southern Lebanon being bombed.
