To step away from memes for a moment, I did want to post a thought on this.
Social media allowed us, unfortunately, to watch a genocide happening in real time. It is clear when I see the videos coming out today that the people look more and more ill and emaciated every day.
The same tool that has allowed us to see this in real time, has rejuvenated the Palestinian cause worldwide as well, hopefully to where their suffering and pain won't ultimately be for nothing.
We now have the catalogue from the very moment it all began on Oct 7 to where we are now, 22 months later. What happened will never be erased or forgotten, unless we, as a people want it to.
And so, it is important for all of us, especially in the West, to ensure we keep showing our friends and family these images, keep Gaza as a main topic of discussion. It has already turned half of American Republican voters against Israel.
Short term, unfortunately not much we can do but long term Palestine will get justice, as long as we don't keep quiet.
