To the residents of the coasts of Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco:
The idea is simple and based on the following:
Take a 1.5 or 2-liter plastic soda bottle, fill it with 1 kilogram of rice, lentils, or any type of dried legumes, and throw it into the sea.
By the will of God, the sea currents in the Mediterranean will carry these bottles from west to east — toward the eastern shores of the sea. There is a high possibility that the bottles will eventually reach the shores of Gaza.
Why? Because the Mediterranean is full of currents that help objects travel long distances, and the food inside the bottles will allow them to float for a long time — meaning they will stay afloat in the water until they reach their destination.
We, the people of North Africa’s coastlines, are millions. Let us fill the sea with these bottles.
You won’t be in any danger. You’ll simply buy a bottle, put the food inside, and toss it into the sea — from where you are and at no cost.
