Many spiritual folks from European origin love the colourfull artwork of Hinduism. But why not looking for colourfull artwork from Teutonic origin? The Pennsylviania German people in the USA preserve their beautiful heathenism that they brought with them from Europe. One of the aspects of the Pennsylvania German culture are their very colourfull Hexesigns/barnsigns. This video is an interview with a man named Hunter M Yoder and he makes hexesigns. I really enjoyed listening to this excellent interview. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5iPITnvLKKk&t=885s
I noticed the same happening in my country of birth (Russia). Until just recently, many modern white westerners who decided to separate from Christianity, and search for spirituality elsewhere, quickly got sucked into some new-age, hippie Eastern spirituality cult/group.

For a while it was a trend among the white Westerners who no longer wanted to be part of Christianity, but still wanted to remain spiritual. It was what everyone did at the time, and people simply got in line behind others. I see this happening even today.

This raises a question why would the modern white Westerners choose to look to foreign cultures for spirituality, instead of looking to their own ancestral European pagan heritage?

I don’t claim to know the correct answer to this question, but I think that most modern-day white westerners look to Eastern cultures in search of spirituality, because most modern white westerners weren’t even aware of their ancestral European pagan heritage until just recently.

Until very recently, most white westerners didn’t even consider themselves part of indigenous culture. The only identity they’ve been programmed with is Christian Western society. Modern white westerners didn’t even realize that they are no less indigenous than any other indigenous peoples.

White westerners always seem to be in awe of the foreign indigenous cultures such as Hindu, Native Americans, Chinese, Maori, etc... The white westerners look at these cultures with great respect, admiration, and even envy. They view them with envy, because modern white folks mistakenly believe that all of those foreign indigenous cultures have something that they don’t, and that would be an ancient past, ethnic roots, native spiritual heritage, shamanic traditions, ethnic mythology and folklore, and indigenous way of life.

I think it’s wonderful that modern white folks view these foreign cultures with great respect and admiration, but they should never feel envious of any foreign indigenous peoples, because modern white people do have ancient roots, and do come from indigenous cultures that have shamanic traditions and their own unique, folklore & mythology, and tribal pagan spiritual heritage.

For a while there white folks were cut off from their ancient source, their native roots, their shamanic traditions, their land/natural environment, their way of life.

For generations, the white folks were rootless, and the captors snuck up at night while everyone was asleep, and placed some new seeds in the empty place where our roots once were. The captors were able to sneakily grow new roots, and attach these new roots to the rootless white folks. So now we have the modern white folks who’s true ancient roots were cut off, and false & foreign new younger roots were attached. These new, young, foreign roots is the “ Christian western society”.

But you see, the captors didn’t realize that they didn’t kill of all of the ancient roots of the white people. Some tiny parts of the ancient true roots survived, and sprung back to life.

The Celtic Druids never wrote down their ways or customs. They thought that if the knowledge of the Druids got into the wrong hands the results could be catastrophic. And their ways would be corrupted.
Today this goes to the point of quality over quanity. Not every thing is for the masses. Druidry and Magick certainly were and are not. Numbers aren't always important. As long as the right people know, even if it is just a few. That's all it takes for a tribe or a spiritual way to grow and succeed.

I must have missed this talk. She is discussing important information here
My place of birth the land of the Don Cossacks. My mother’s whole family is from there.

I don’t really trust official history of this place, or of Don Cossacks. I’m sure like with everyone else, they have a lot of hidden history.

Looking back on my childhood growing in Rostov-na-Donu, I was always infatuated with wild, untamed nature.

I often liked going into the local woods as a young girl and spending time in nature alone. Of course these days it’s very dangerous to let a young child go into the woods, but back then, in that country it was save.

I loved spending time by one of the local lakes, or the wild meadows, and hills.

My family owned several plots of lands which we utilized for food growing. So I was always working with the soil, and spending time near trees, and plants.

I remember being only about 7, or 8 years old, and purposely waking up like at 4, or 5am one late spring morning, and going outside into one of our gardens. I did it, because I wanted to be awake and outside very early morning, so that I can watch the sun rise, and hear all of the living beings waking up, birds chirping, bugs buzzing. I just wanted to spend time alone with the morning.

At 13 years old I was leaving Rostov-on-Don with my family, to start our new life America, I was very sad. I didn’t want to leave. I remember getting down on my knees and kneeling down to kiss the Russian land, and tell Russia goodbye for now, I will return one day. I took a jar of Russian soil with me to America.

It’s been many years since I left my birthplace, and unfortunately, I have not been back there yet. Not because I didn’t want to, but because I have not had the opportunity to do so.

Looks like another interesting book.

Baba’s secrets of the old ways? I’m intrigued!
This is the other book I was talking about. I actually shared information on this book, because it seemed interesting to me, because it was about exploring pre-Christian Slavic paganism. In the description of this book, they also say “God & Goddess.” I can try to ignore that part, but today I noticed the same thing while reading description of another book written by a Wiccan

Description
"Yulianka knew her grandmother was a witch, so when Baba showed up that gray and boring day, the young girl thought Baba must have read her mind."... with these words a young girl embarks on a journey of discovery to find out about her Slavic heritage. If you have never quite connected with the religion you were taught, it may be that your soul calls you back to the Old Ways. Learn the secrets that have been hidden for a thousand years; the secrets of the Earth and Stars that have persisted since before written history. Long before Christianity, the Indigenous people in the Slavic lands lived in harmony with nature. They listened to the nature spirits of water and woods, learning the healing properties of plants. They could see that life was circular, just like the seasons. Spring transformed into the lush season of summer and fruits, berries and grains were harvested. Then the Wheel of the Year turned and the winter was upon them; a time to pull inward and rest. Yet with the coming spring, the world was reborn! The God and Goddess of the Slavs were joyful providers; giving their people golden apples, grapes and ripe grain. Their God and Goddess transformed with the seasons. When the indigenous religion was forced to go underground, the teachings were kept alive in tales. This is such a tale.
