Lada, the Slavic goddess of beauty and fertility is often depicted with swans. Swans are found in the mythology & folklore of all pre-Christian, indigenous pagan European cultures, like Celtic, Nordic, Germanic, and other indigenous cultures around the world.

Earlier I mentioned that Slavic goddesses Lada is always depicted with swans. Here in this image you can see one of Slavic pre-Christian calendar of sun’s passage. It’s called “Heavenly Halls of Svarog’s Circle”. It says that number 4 is a Hall of Swans and it’s associated with goddesses Mokosh. Goddess Lada is known as a goddess of beauty and fertility. Goddess Mokosh is also connected to fertility. Also I’ve read that goddess Lada was connected to wet Mother Earth, like Mokosh who was called the moist Mother Earth.
This is the source that talks about older Slavic calendar systems. It’s not the best translation from Russian to English
