Ukrainian-Russian war. Day 993:
Situation on Kursk front:
- At Korenevsky district Russian Army recaptured Orlovka & Novaya Sorochina. In addition, Russian forces advanced southeast of Novoivanovka trying to surround Leonidovo. Moreover, map corrections were made showing Ukrainian forces presence at the forest south of Kremyanoe.
- At Sudzhansky district Russian Army advances south & north of Plekhovo taking control over a series of positions at the border with Sumy & reaching Reka Sudzha river. On the other hand, the recent bombardments shows Ukrainian Army still in control over Cherkasskaya Konopel'ka locality & the warehouses southeast of Kolmakov.

Ukrainian-Russian war. Day 993:
Situation on northeastern front: During the last three days the Russian army increased its operations south of Hnylytsya river and control the forests north of Kupiansk. From there, during the last hours Russian forces launched the first assault on the city for the first time since 2022. A landing of troops took place in the vicinity of the private company ‘Liga’ in the centre of the industrial heart of Kupiansk. However, it remains unclear whether Russian troops were able to gain a foothold there in the end. If this is confirmed, we are talking about the beginning of the battle for this city.

Situation on Toretsk front:
- Russian Army resumed the offensive inside Toretsk city, taking up positions near the Avangard stadium and re-entering the Zabalka district. In addition, Russian forces advanced to the north of micro-district 1 and north-west of Pivnichne reaching the outskirts of the ‘red’ farming community.
- On the other hand Ukrainian Army drove the Russians out of Scherbynivka and Leonidivka, as well as continued their counter-attacks in the south of Toretsk and were able to recapture the Terrikon of the Valyuga mine and approached the power plant south of there.
- West of Nepilivka, Russian troops were able to seize new trench systems.

Situation on Pokrovsk front: Russian Army continue the advance along the railway northwest of Selydove aproaching to the locality of Pustynka from the north.

Situation on Kurakhove front: Russian Army took full control over Illinka & began advancing towards Berestky by taking control over a fortification east of this locality. In addition, Russian forces secured new positions inside the town of Kurakhove.

20% of the urban area of Kurakhove is now under Russian control.

Situation southwest of Donetsk: During the last four days Russian Army made new advances northeast of Maksymivka in the direction of Trudove & Uspenivka.

Ukrainian-Russian war. Day 993:
Situation on Velikaya Novoselovka & Zaporizhia front: Russian Army activated the axis of Novodonets'ke & Urozhaine. Small progress was also made southwest of Shakhtars'ke. Moreover, Russian forces began the operation to recapture Novodarivka by advancing from west & south of this locality.

The battle inside Velyka Novosilka might begin soon. Russian Army is 4,5 Km from the first houses.

The situation of the Ukrainian army is much more difficult than it seems: the Russian army has completely broken through the eastern defences of Kurakhove. There were and are not enough troops to fill the trenches. Dalnye is about to be taken by the Russians. Meanwhile the Ukrainian retreat is accelerating in the southern salient. Combing operations in Antonivka are already taking place since the abandonment of the locality to the western defences. In addition, Russian forces are advancing easily north of Maksymivka and Bohoyavlenka. Troops are closer to Kostiantynopolske than to Uspenivka.
Most worryingly, the order to withdraw from Kurakhove has not yet been given, and withdrawal is becoming less feasible by the day. Only the urban area and the thermal power station offer a place of cover and entrenchment. However, from a military point of view, the Ukrainian fortress's days are numbered.

The front north of Bakhmut is being reactivated. A new axis began to advance towards Siversk from the south.

Situation on northeastern front: During the last five days Russian Army fully secured the locality of Pershotravneve. After this, Russian forces began advancing southwards & entered in the northern part of Kopanky.

Situation on eastern front: Russian Army restarted the advances north of Soledar & took control over a series of positions on the northern shore of Bakhmutovka River adjacent to Sakko i Vantsetti & Mykolaivka, thus reaching the outskirts of Fedorivka.

Situation south of Bakhmut: Russian Army began the operations to expel Ukrainian Army to the last positions east of the water canal taking control over a series of positions north & northwest of Kurdyumivka. In addition, during the last four days Russian reconnaissance groups began to be more active on the western shore of the canal some kilometers north.

Situation on Kurakhove front: Russian Army broke the eastern defense line of Ukrainian Army in Kurakhove town taking control over several positions in this axis, included the locality of Dalnye. Moreover, Russian forces advanced north of Illinka & captured the trench systems in this direction. In addition, clashes with Ukrainian forces began at the outskirts of Berestky & Nova Illinka.

Situation southwest of Donetsk: Russian Army took control over several positions south of Maksymilyanivka & northwest of Kostyantynivka, included the locality of Antonivka. On the other hand, Russian forces made new advances of Maksymivka. With the capture of Dalnye only 6 Km remains to join Russian troops from north & southern axis. As a result Ukrainian Army began the withdrawal from the salient located in the last part of Maryinsk district under its control.
