Canada on Thursday announced a ban on 324 assault-style firearms in a continued effort for more stringent gun control.

Leaders in Canada also said that they are working with the government of Ukraine to see how the guns can be donated to support the fight against Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

“Every bit of assistance we can offer to the Ukrainians is one step toward their victory,” Defense Minister Bill Blair said.

The latest restriction, announced by Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc, also includes investments in border security in an effort to stop smuggling and trafficking, as well as strengthening firearms controls, and tougher penalties for gun traffickers.

Sergey Lavrov occupies an interesting space in the Russian story, often able to cut through noise in a way Putin's position doesn't allow him to.

His opening response to Tucker is Bicameral signal.

Lavrov is telling westerners that, while Russia effectively IS at war with the US, describing it as a hybrid war, he draws a subtle distinction between that and the America that has Russia's respect and admiration.

While anti-Russia propaganda entered the mainstream narrative circa 2016 with the advent of the Russia Collusion hoax against Trump, and while it no doubt accelerated during the 2022 panic pattern as Putin moved in to liberate the Donbas by Denazifying the Prussian Proxy state on his borders, Russia-US tensions have been seeded going back a century as the ultimate backdrop in what the Deep State has long seen as the ultimate prize in terms of a Great Reset trigger.

They wanted the last war to be Actual. The one we're getting is Narrative, and peace is going to be the winner.

GOP Senator calls out NBC for 'selectively omitting key words' from 14th Amendment in Trump interview

Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah., took NBC News to task for "selectively omitting" a key part of the 14th Amendment in a question about birthright citizenship during an interview with President-elect Donald Trump on Sunday.

Trump was asked about a number of changes he intends to implement once he assumes office during a sit down released on NBC’s "Meet the Press," including his plan to end birthright citizenship. Under the 14th Amendment, someone born in the U.S. is granted citizenship regardless of whether their parents are citizens. Trump confirmed that he intends to end the policy "on Day One," calling it "ridiculous."

NBC host Kristen Welker pushed back, arguing that the 14th Amendment "states all persons in the United States are citizens. Can you get around the 14th Amendment with executive action?" she asked.

Trump said he was open to using executive action, reiterating that the U.S. is "the only country has it" and "we have to end it."

Lee shared a clip of the exchange on X later Sunday, rebuking the NBC host for omitting six critical words from the 14th Amendment in her question to Trump.

"All persons born … in the United States, *and subject to the jurisdiction thereof,* shall be citizens of the United States," Lee wrote on X, highlighting the missing words in asterisks.

"Those words matter," he added.
