My first wife was an Oklahoma girl and we moved to San Francisco after college. I remember years later looking back and realizing we probably would have made it if we had never left home. Everything I needed to know to succeed in Oklahoma I had down by 18, but that wasn’t the case in Northern California in 1990. The requirement for personal growth, resiliency, flexibility, ductility amicability was too much and that’s where we are now.

So here’s my question for the enclave, do we just accept this as an inevitable compounding complicating, conflagration of our society? Or do we elect a bunch of Amish bastards and start making our own soap?
