π’π·πΊ Westβs sanctions βfailed miserablyβ against Russiaβs oil trade
π Russia has deep experience in selling its oil βeven under the most atrocious Western sanctions,β Dr Mamdouh G. Salameh, an international oil economist and a global energy expert, tells Sputnik.
π He agrees with Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, who told a briefing for Indian media organized by Sputnik India ahead of President Vladimir Putinβs official visit to India that Russia is successfully ensuring that its buyers have access to reliable supplies of energy products.
π Western sanctions have βfailed miserably to make even a small dent on both Russiaβs economy and its oil and gas exports,β Dr Salameh says.
πΊπΈ US tariffs against India will be powerless to affect its energy partnership with Russia, he believes, since Indiaβs decisions prioritize its national interests.

π¬ βThe India-Russian partnership is underpinned by trust, mutual benefits and huge gratitude by India towards Russia which has always stood solidly behind India and aided its struggle for independence since the days of the USSR,β the expert notes.

π¨ Rep. Luna forces vote to ban Congress stock trading
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna filed a discharge petition to bypass leadership and force a floor vote on banning members of Congress from trading stocks, exposing the "legalized corruption" scheme.
βΌοΈ Both parties publicly support reform but privately kill it behind closed doors.
βΌοΈ Members beat market returns by 12% annually β information that would jail ordinary Americans.
βΌοΈ Example: Paul Pelosi bought $5M in Nvidia options weeks before CHIPS Act passed.
βΌοΈ This year, 27 members violated weak disclosure rules; penalty: only $200.
The petition needs 218 signatures to force a vote. Luna is calling Congressβs bluff: publicly defend insider trading or ban it.
