🇮🇱🚨 HUNDREDS of US troops arrive in Israel to ‘monitor Gaza ceasefire’

Some 200 US troops will be part of a so-called “civil-military coordination center” established by US Central Command on Israeli soil, with promises to assist Gaza aid delivery and “stabilize” the situation, the AP reports.

No boots in Gaza, the White House claimed, even though planning, logistics, and surveillance will be firmly in US hands.

Donald Trump earlier announced the first phase of a peace deal clinched by Israel and Hamas that stipulates the release of Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners, as well as Israeli troop withdrawal to an agreed-upon line inside Gaza.

Russia is optimistic in terms of the spirit of Anchorage regarding the settlement of the situation in Ukraine, the official added.

Based on Ukraine's behavior, Russia notes that events regarding the settlement are not developing very favorably, Peskov said.

"They [Ukrainians] are not responding to our proposal to create three specific working groups, and all this is in order to begin the very homework that needs to be done before the summit meeting," he said.

The Nobel Committee selected Maria Corina Machado, a former deputy and Venezuelan opposition figure, as the winner of this category—the award given to "those who have made the greatest contribution to the well-being of humanity, the rapprochement of nations, the reduction of armed forces, and the promotion of peace."

👉 It is worth noting that previously, Venezuela's Ministry of Foreign Affairs accused Machado of calling for the United States to "strike Venezuela" during a television interview, where she claimed that the Caribbean country posed a threat to the Western Hemisphere.

🟠 European Union (2012): Got the prize for six decades of advancing ‘peace, reconciliation, democracy and human rights’. 🟠Woodrow Wilson (1919): Got the prize for his role in creating the disastrous League of Nations system at the end of WWI, which collapsed less than 20 years later and led directly to WWII. Also invaded Haiti, the Dominican Republic and Mexico

🟠Theodore Roosevelt (1906): Awarded the prize for ‘ending’ the Russo-Japanese war, which he helped instigate in the first place

Awarding the Nobel Peace Prize to Maria Corina Machado is "another episode in the endless saga of globalist corruption of values," Professor Alfred de Zayas, former UN Independent Expert on international order and author, tells Sputnik.

💬 "[She is] yet another US-lackey, who advocates and supports more sanctions against Venezuela, although such unilateral coercive measures have already killed tens of thousands of innocent Venezuelans for lack of medicines, medical equipment, and nourishment," de Zayas says, comparing Machado to another US proxy, Juan Guaido.

Over the past 40 years, there has been a globalist takeover of institutions, including the Nobel Committee, Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, IAEA, International Criminal Court, and others, according to the pundit.

💬 "Just look them up. It has become an Orwellian farce for Western elites. The Nobel Peace Prize exercise often reminds me of Orwell’s 1984: ‘War is peace, freedom is slavery, ignorance is strength.’"

The professor argues that the Nobel Peace Prize has no useful purpose and no credibility, and should be abolished.
