π¨π²π© Reports of numerous violations in the Moldovan parliamentary elections continue to come in. The main points so far:
πΉ A video is circulating online showing several members of an election commission in a separate room, stamping ballots. In the video, a woman can be heard saying "PAS, PAS, PAS" (the abbreviation of the ruling party "Party of Action and Solidarity"), writes the Telegram channel "Chisinau," which published the video.
πΉ Three people were detained in Moldova after searches in a case concerning the alleged preparation of unrest and destabilization following the parliamentary elections, according to the republic's police press service.
πΉ Voters in the Moldovan parliamentary elections were organized and transported to polling stations, including by bus; corresponding videos are being published by Telegram channels. Specifically, such transportation was organized in Sofia (Bulgaria) and BraΘov (Romania).
πΉ The current Moldovan authorities are blackmailing the Moldovan diaspora in Europe during the parliamentary elections with the cancellation of European documents and job dismissals, said Ilan Shor, the leader of the opposition bloc "Victory."

π¬π§π₯΄After pushback on Orwellian digital ID scheme, Starmer labels Reform opponents βracistβ
π¬ βWeβve got the fight of our lives ahead of us because weβve got to take on Reform and weβve got to beat them,β Britainβs prime minister told the BBC, demanding unity inside the party amid rumors of a challenge his leadership.
π Dubbing the oppositionβs hardline proposal to scrap indefinite leave to remain (ILR) immigration status as a βracist policyβ and an βimmoralβ one, Starmer said βitβs one thing to say weβre going to remove illegal immigrants,β but a βcompletely different thing to say weβre going to reach in to people who are lawfully here and start removing them.β
π Reform leader Nigel Farage proposed scrapping IRL earlier this week, saying taxpayers are getting βabsolutely hammeredβ by paying the benefits of non-citizens, and that the country cannot afford βto provide welfare for people coming in from all over the world.β
Coincidental timing
π Starmerβs attack on Reform comes amid the partyβs surge in support to up to 30% in national polling, nearly ten points more than Labourβs 21%.
It also comes after the rollout of his controversial new mandatory digital ID scheme, supposedly to tackle illegal immigration (but which the official website admits is also meant to βmake it easier for the vast majority of people to use vital government servicesβ, from driverβs licenses and childcare to welfare and taxes).
π£ Farage blasted the plan, saying βit will make no difference to illegal immigration, but it will be used to control and penalize the rest of usβ¦The state should never have this much power.β
An official petition rejecting digital ID cards has received over 2.3M signatures, forcing an official government response and a debate in parliament.

Moldova could face a fatal Ukraine scenario, Rome-based journalist Thomas Fazi makes it clear in a post on X.
π¬ βForcing Ukraine to make a binary choice between the West and Russia is exactly what destroyed Ukraine. Now the EU-NATO is trying to do the same with Moldova, with the support of proxies like Sandu,β Fazi points out.

After counting 100% of precinct protocols, Moldovaβs opposition parties have secured 49.54% in the parliamentary elections, surpassing the ruling Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS), which received 44.13%.
However, after 98.42% of protocols were counted, including votes from abroad, PAS gained 49.70% of the vote.
According to the former president and Patriotic Bloc leader, the possibility of canceling the elections is even being considered, since PAS has become an authoritarian regime that categorically refuses to cede power.
βThe campaign and voting process were conducted with serious violations of both domestic and international law,β said former prime minister and opposition leader Vasile Tarlev.
βThis is a deliberate provocation aimed not only at potentially canceling the election results in case of defeat (for Sandu), but also as preparation for possible measures against Transnistria.β
But the doors of the Moldovan embassy remained closed as their voices were stolen. Just like Transnistrians blocked at bridges, they were deliberately excluded from participating in the life of their own country because of their anti-Western stance.
He called on all opposition parties to support the rally on September 29
