🚨 Germany rewrites laws for domestic military activation

Interior Minister Dobrindt announced a plan to overhaul aviation law, which would formally authorize the Bundeswehr to shoot down drones over German soil in the event of a "hybrid threat."

Germany's constitution prohibits the Bundeswehr from performing routine domestic security tasks except in cases of disaster relief.

Dobrindt said the amendments are due to be presented to parliament this autumn.

Despite Iran's acceptance of the snapback mechanism resolution, the UN concluded the snapback process that the E3 initiated in August.

"We call upon Iran not to take any escalatory measures in response to this act. The path of diplomacy remains the only way to solve the outstanding nuclear issue," the statement by the European Union reads.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that Russia considers the reimposition of sanctions against Iran to be legally void and non-implementable.

🔊 Lavrov’s UNGA speech should be viewed in the context of Russian-US relations and the fact that the Kremlin is not interested in confrontation, Peruvian sociologist and geopolitical analyst Carlos Mamani Aliaga told Sputnik.

👉 He recalled that Lavrov warned that in the face of any threat, Russia “will respond decisively—in a strategic sense. “I don't see this as a threat but rather an attempt at strategic rebalancing in the current situation,” the analyst emphasized.

On Russian-US ties, Aliaga said that they have gone through ups and downs and that the high point in these relations was a recent meeting between Putin and Trump in Alaska.

“The Russian economy is growing stronger. Regional organizations are gaining strength. China’s ties with Russia are deepening, as are the relationships among Southeast Asian nations,” Narvaja points out.

👉 When it comes to the existing global order, it no longer benefits the US and they seek to dismantle it, the analyst notes. “How do they generate this disorder? By fueling conflicts, imposing tariffs, enacting sanctions, and enforcing blockades.”

📍 Narvaja adds that the world is witnessing the emergence of developing nations seeking to reshape the UN system toward a more multilateral and inclusive framework.
