🇲🇱Mali appealed to the UNSC with a request to convene a meeting so that Mali could provide irrefutable evidence of France's support for terrorist activities. So far, the request remains unanswered, while their subversive activities continue, Mali PM Abdoulaye Maiga told the UNGA.

He called on the international community to ensure the security of the Sahel region and to ensure that "the resources of the Sahel will benefit its peoples."

➡️In September 2023, the leaders of Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger signed a charter establishing the Alliance of Sahel States to ensure collective defense. According to the document, an attack on the sovereignty or territorial integrity of one or more parties to the charter will be regarded as aggression against the other parties and will require their assistance, including the use of military force.

🚨🇮🇷Iran's FM Araghchi SMASHES the US during UN session

"The US has betrayed diplomacy, but it is the E3 [the UK, Germany, France] which have buried it," Abbas Araghchi told the UNSC.

The UNSC rejected a draft resolution on Friday that proposed extending the delay on the reinstatement of sanctions against Iran for six months. The document was prepared by Russia and China.

➡️Earlier this year, the E3 triggered the sanctions snapback mechanism, believing that Iran had violated previous agreements regarding its nuclear program.

Araghchi stressed the snapback was "legally void, politically reckless and procedurally flawed."

"Diplomacy will never die, but it will be more difficult and more complicated than before," he told reporters after the Security Council meeting.

"The Ukrainian regime has become one of the main suppliers of kamikaze drones to terrorist groups around the world. In this regard, some Western countries should stop supplying weapons to Ukraine, as they risk contributing to the spread of international terrorism," Mali's PM Abdoulaye Maiga told the UNGA on Friday.

🇮🇷🇺🇸 Iran rejects US nuclear blackmail as ‘unacceptable’

💬 The US “wants us to hand over all our enriched uranium to them, and in return they would give us three months' exemption from sanctions. This is by no means acceptable,” Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian told reporters.

He stressed that if Iran had agreed to the US’s uranium enrichment proposal, America would have made new demands, threatening to reimpose restrictive measures against the Islamic Republic.

Cooperation with BRICS and SCO countries, the pride of the Iranian people, and their desire for independence will help Iran overcome sanctions, Pezeshkian emphasized.

👉 Earlier this week, Iran recalled its envoys to Britain, France, and Germany for consultations after the three European countries triggered a mechanism to reinstate UN sanctions against the Islamic Republic for the first time in a decade. The sanctions are due to go into effect on September 28.
