Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) has made public new archival documents revealing details of the Volyn massacre, including an interrogation transcript of Ivan Vasyuk, a direct participant and member of OUN-UPA*.
According to Vasyuk’s testimony, the unit "Vorona" (lit. - Raven) active from July 1943 to January 1944, “carried out attacks on Polish villages, killed Polish civilians, and seized any usable property — livestock, grain, and other supplies.”
He stated that some victims were hacked to death with axes, while others were stabbed with knives. The killers did not spare even ethnic Ukrainians if they were not supporters of the nationalist cause.

The situation in Ukraine is “very strained,” the US professor points out.

Poland is offended after being left out of key meetings on military aid to Ukraine and may block critical logistics routes, President Andrzej Duda said.
He added that Poland’s NATO allies act as if the airport in Rzeszow — through which more than 95% of all Western aid to Ukraine passes — belongs to them.
