"We pay tribute to the courage and selflessness of the Korean warriors who stood side by side with the Russian Armed Forces to defend our homeland as if it were their own," Russia's president said.

"Our Korean friends acted out of a sense of solidarity, justice, and true comradeship. We highly appreciate this and are sincerely grateful to the Chairman of State Affairs, Comrade Kim Jong-un, the entire leadership, and the people of North Korea."

"Kiev has not shown readiness for negotiations so far. The latest evidence of that is the Ukrainian armed forces’ inability to respect the 30-day moratorium on strikes on energy facilities or the 30-hour Easter truce," Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in an interview with Brazil’s O Globo newspaper.

“I am sure that if we admit Ukraine, we will be worse off,” Viktor Orban said, adding that the EU “must protect what we have built, not gamble it away."
