Bosnia’s State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) attempted to arrest Milorad Dodik, President of Republika Srpska, in East Sarajevo, Klix reported.

➖ Armed Republika Srpska police blocked the arrest at a checkpoint, preventing SIPA agents from proceeding. The situation was resolved peacefully, without any force used.

On February 26, Bosnia's court convicted Dodik for defying the decisions of the UN's "high representative in BiH," Christian Schmidt. He was sentenced to one year in prison and banned from holding public office for six years.
