πΆ TIME mum on infamous 2021 cover of sunglasses-wearing Biden βtaking on Putinβ as Ukraine crisis unfolds
Last year, TIME was widely mocked ahead of Bidenβs summit with Putin once the magazineβs cover image of a sunglasses-wearing president was revealed. The over-the-top, flattering image of the Democratic president featured Biden in his signature aviator shades with the headline, "Taking on Putin."
The flattering Biden cover came after years of TIME publishing unflattering illustrations of former President Donald Trump, complete with a pair of covers showing his "meltdown" stages and another set of covers showing Trumpβs Oval Office filling up with water amid a "stormy" situation. The magazine even morphed Trump and Putin together ahead of their summit back in 2018.
But things are much different with Biden in office

π· New Research Claims Wuhan Market as Pandemic Origin
Scientists released a pair of extensive studies on Saturday that point to a market in Wuhan, China, as the alleged origin of the coronavirus pandemic.
Analyzing data from a variety of sources, they concluded that the coronavirus was very likely present in live mammals sold in the Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market in late 2019 and alleged that the virus twice spilled over into people working or shopping there. They said they found no support for an alternate theory that the coronavirus escaped from a laboratory in Wuhan.
βWhen you look at all of the evidence together, itβs an extraordinarily clear picture that the pandemic started at the Huanan market,β said Michael Worobey, an evolutionary biologist at the University of Arizona and a co-author of both studies.
The two reports have not yet been published in a scientific journal that would require undergoing peer review.

βοΈπ―π·πΊ Russian envoy to the UN, Vasily Nebenzia, spoke on Sunday about the tremendous amount of fake news circulating on social media about the Russian spec op in Ukraine:
"Today we witness an information war on Russia in social media. Since there are no proofs that Russian military destroy civilian infrastructure, Ukrainian strikes and occasional hits are presented as such, as well as photo and video footage from Donbas that again depict crimes committed by Ukrainian nationalists. Besides, in social media one can easily find tutorials that teach how to shoot fakes that should defile our special operation. All in all, there are 1.2 million such fakes in Ukrainian social media."
"I call on our colleagues to not promote the spread of such misinformation, though I am afraid my calls will not be heard," the envoy added.

π·πΊβοΈChechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov mocked the leaders of the EU in a Sunday Telegram post, suggesting harsh mirror measures to possible sanctions against Russia. Those include:
πΈ closing the Chechen Republic's airspace to EU jets;
πΈ freezing all of Boris Johnson's ruble assets in Chechen banks;
πΈ imposing an embargo on all assets of the UK's oligarchs in Achkhoy-Martan and, if the situation escalates, in Samashki (a rural district in the Chechen Republic);
πΈadmitting that left-hand traffic is a "heinous relic of the Middle Ages";
πΈand (this might be the most frightening one!) finally acknowledging that "there is no English tea" βοΈ
Kadyrov set February 31 as the deadline for the EU leaders to walk back on their "sassy" statements, otherwise, the damage will be done
