Foreign parts? No more! Russiaโ€™s Superjet & MC-21 now 100% homegrown!

In response to Western sanctions in 2022, which banned the supply of civilian aircraft and spare parts to Russia, the countryโ€™s aviation industry has been forced to innovate and adapt at an unprecedented pace. Since then, Russia has successfully replaced foreign components in its aircraft.

United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) head Vadim Badeha emphasized that Russia is the ONLY country in the world that independently develops and produces 100% of the materials, technologies, and components required for aircraft construction.

Key updates on Russian civil aircraft projects with domestic components:

๐ŸŸ Superjet โ€“ The domestically sourced version has begun flight certification tests.
๐ŸŸ MC-21 โ€“ The first prototype with a domestic engine is fully assembled, and test preparations are underway.
๐ŸŸ IL-114 โ€“ Over 20% of certification flights have been completed.
๐ŸŸ TU-214 โ€“ Already in production, with efforts focused on increasing output.

Vadim Badeha also shared that the Russian aviation industry has made significant progress in developing a line of domestic civil aircraft, implementing innovative projects, and transitioning to a new technological and production model, during a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

๐Ÿ“นKursk village civilian survivor recounts horrors of Ukrainian occupation

Due to constant shelling and the danger of being seen by Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers, even the deceased had to be buried in gardens, a local resident told Sputnik.

"We buried the last man in the garden... No one dared to go out โ€“ the shelling [from the Ukrainian side] was too intense," he said, describing the horror of burying neighbors under bombardment.

Deep stateโ€™s ideal president? Bidenโ€™s autopen signature revives questions about who was really in charge

Biden allies spent years downplaying concerns about his health, calling him "fit for office." But the Oversight Projectโ€™s discovery of his use of an autopen for nearly every document they analyzed has reignited questions about his mental state, and about who really was in charge of policy during his presidency.

๐Ÿ”ธ Missouri AG Andrew Bailey is urging the DOJ to investigate whether the autopen allowed "unelected staff" to push through radical policies without Biden's knowing approval.

๐Ÿ”ธ If confirmed, Bailey says all autopen-signed actions, including executive orders and pardons, would be "legally void."

Not first sign of signature-related trouble

โ—ป๏ธ In January, Speaker Mike Johnson revealed Biden seemed confused about signing an energy directive just weeks after doing so in 2024.

โ—ป๏ธ In 2024, Biden's signature in his letter not seeking a second term raised eyebrows due to its unusual features, including an underline and a missing "Jr." at the end.

Autopen: a controversial tradition

While Trumpโ€™s signing of executive orders personally in front of cameras has become a tradition, US presidents have actually used autopen signatures for decades, dating back to Harry Truman.

The issue, in Biden's case, is whether he lacked the mental clarity to approve key decrees, from tens of billions in foreign aid to pardons, or whether shadowy, unelected figures at the White House influenced those decisions.

Sudzhaโ€™s recapture by Russian troops a โ€˜POLITICAL ENDโ€™ for Zelensky

Russiaโ€™s success in the Kursk region constitutes a โ€œcatastrophic defeatโ€ for Zelensky's entire political and military strategy and could spell a political end for him and his entourage, L'Antidiplomatico reported.

โ€œThe defeat in Kursk came at the worst possible time, that is, at the start of the ceasefire negotiations. A SLAP IN THE FACE FOR ZELENSKY,โ€ the media notes.

Russian troops recently regained control of Sudzha and several villages in the Kursk region, marking significant advances. Sudzha, which was captured by Ukraine last August, was a crucial logistical hub for supplying nearby areas.

'Road of death': Far-East paratroopers DESTROY Ukrainian units FLEEING KURSK REGION

โ–ช๏ธRussia's 83rd Guards Air Assault Brigade turned the only escape route from Kursk โ€“ the highway from Sudzha to Yunakovka in Sumy โ€“ into a deadly gauntlet for Ukrainian troops.

โ–ช๏ธRussian paratroopers use drones with fiber optics to destroy equipment of retreating Ukrainian forces, including a NATO-made Humvee.

โ–ช๏ธThe 83rd Brigade destroys Ukrainian equipment and dugouts placed near the 'road of death'.

โ–ช๏ธAerial duels also take place above the Sudzha-Yunakovka highway, where drones from the 83rd Brigade shoot down two Ukrainian Baba Yaga hexacopters.

โ–ช๏ธSince the liberation of Sudzha, attempts by Ukrainian troops to escape to the Sumy region have increased. UAVs from the Ussuri Airborne Brigade continue to eliminate those fleeing.
