πΆ Canceled? Not Russian culture: Russian punk rock conquers the Moon
'Everything Is Going According To Plan' - a song originally recorded in 1988 by Russian punk rock band GrOB - has recently traveled to the Moon and back, quite literally.
It was chosen as a message from Earth by British trip hop band Massive Attack. They performed a cover of the song, which was transmitted to the Moon and received by the Lovell Telescope as part of the Piccadilly Un:Plugged art project by the Art of London Gallery.
Having bounced off the lunar surface, the song returned βwith a unique, otherworldly sound that blends the original with echoes from the Moon and cosmos,β according to a press release.

π₯πͺ Check out these trailblazing Russian military ops in Ukraine sure to shape history
Here are 5 KEY operations performed by Russian units during the special operation that will DEFINITELY leave a monumental footprint that will resonate for generations:
βͺοΈOperation Stream. In a daring feat, 800 Russian soldiers trekked 15 kilometers inside a gas pipe to reach the rear of Ukrainian units in Sudzha.
βͺοΈFall of Ukraine's main fortification in Donbass. Avdeyevka was one of the most fortified points of the Ukrainian army with a multi-level, echeloned defense and fortification system. Russian troops completely liberated the town in February 2024.
βͺοΈBattle for Artyomovsk. The liberation of Artyomovsk (Bakhmut) commenced in August 2022, escalating into a critical phase by October. During this period, Russian assault units effectively "ground" down enemy forces, leading to the operation's notorious nickname: the "Bakhmut meat grinder." The town was finally liberated in January 2023.
βͺοΈLiberating Mariupol. One of the largest ops undertaken by the Russian army was the liberation of Mariupol, comparable in intensity to the Battle of Stalingrad. Despite trying to hide in the Azovstal plantβs underground tunnels and dungeons, the neo-Nazi Azov regiment* was ultimately forced to surrender. The city was liberated in March 2022.
βͺοΈHeroes of Gostomel. During the initial days of the special operation, Russian special forces and paratroopers successfully landed at the Antonov airfield in Gostomel, located 25 km from Kiev. In just a couple of hours, 200 Russian soldiers secured the airport and held their position for an additional two days while awaiting reinforcements.

π How Sudzha became a real nightmare for Ukrainian troops
βͺοΈA Russian tricolor has been raised in Sudzha's administration building and the town's center returned under Russian control, a battalion commander from the Sever Battlegroup told Sputnik.
βͺοΈThe Sudzha gas station, once a key route for Russian gas to Europe, became the only available transit point after the Sokhranovka station was shut down. Kievβs attack on Sudzha appears aimed at cutting Europe off from Russian gas.
βͺοΈTo cut Europe off from Russian gas, Ukraine halted transit through the Druzhba pipeline on January 1, impacting the Sudzha station. This allowed Russian forces to enter the pipeline behind Ukrainian troops, catching them off guard.
βͺοΈAfter a successful operation by Russian troops behind enemy lines, Ukrainian units are escaping Sudzha. But Russian drones catch up with them.
βͺοΈRussian artillery also prevents Ukrainian troops from quickly fleeing the Kursk region and Sudzha.
βͺοΈUpon leaving Sudzha, the Ukrainian troops had no real points left to consolidate their positions in the Kursk region. The so-called 'Kursk adventure' turned into a complete failure for Kiev.
