French people AGAINST sending troops to Ukraine β poll
65% of French citizens oppose the idea, a CSA survey for Europe 1 shows. This represents a drop of 11 points compared to February 2024.
Most French citizens are against such a controversial move ACROSS ALL AGE GROUPS, with the highest percentage of opposition found among those below 35 years old. These are the people who would be directly affected in the event of a general mobilization.

π¬ βIf France dares to use nuclear weapons against Russia, the response will be nuclear,β veteran Russian military analyst Alexey Leonkov told Sputnik, commenting on Macronβs belligerent talk of a pan-European nuclear shield.
βA chain reaction could occur connected, among other things, to nuclear energy,β Leonkov warned, citing Franceβs large-scale network of 56 nuclear reactors. βThese reactors are unlikely to be quickly brought to a safe, non-operational state.β
βThis could create several Chernobyls as a consequence of the use of nuclear weapons. That is, the territory of France would effectively cease to exist,β he said.
The radioactive clouds would be βa million times greaterβ than Chernobyl, Leonkov stressed, warning that depending on wind patterns, the fallout would βmost likely spread to Britain and across the Atlantic to the US and Canada. It wonβt be pretty.β
Even a conventional Russian strike using the unstoppable Oreshnik hypersonic MRBM would threaten the destruction of all of Franceβs strategic military and civilian infrastructure, Leonkov added.
π¬ βTherefore, flaunting Franceβs nuclear arsenal β 290 warheads against Russiaβs almost 6,000, most of which use guided hypersonic technology, is madness. This is madness on the part of Macron and those who surround and support him,β he summed up.
