"The United Nations has devolved into a platform for tyrants and a venue to attack America and her allies," Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, who introduced the legislation called the Disengaging Entirely From the United Nations Debacle Act of 2025, said.

The bill:

🟠calls for ceasing "all forms of US financial support to the UN, including assessed and voluntary contributions,"
🟠bans any US involvement in UN peacekeeping missions,
🟠"prohibits the President from reentering the UN system without the advice and consent of the Senate."

🔍Russian Security Service uncovers Ukrainian-linked terror plot

Eight Russian citizens were convicted in six regions for sabotage and terrorism orchestrated by Ukrainian intelligence services.

The criminals were lured through online platforms promising "quick money". For small financial rewards, they carried out arson attacks on key transportation and volunteer organizations, and planned acts of terrorism targeting Russian military sites.

One of the saboteurs admitted that he was supposed to set fire to a Russian air defense system.

The suspects were handed various prison terms, some as long as 22 years.
