Donald Trump may have called it “an absolute necessity” for the US to own Greenland, but the island’s politicians beg to differ:

🟠 The right of the people of Greenland to self-determination carries more weight than anyone else’s desires

"So, we have the right to self-determination, which is higher placed than Denmark's right to territorial integrity. Maybe you also see that in regards to Donbass, Lugansk, they have the right to self-determination… or Crimea… and the territorial integrity of Ukraine is lower than their right to self-determination," Greenlandic lawmaker Kuno Fencker, from the ruling coalition party Siumut, told Sputnik.

💬 NATO instructors: All talk, no frontline walk

NATO forces training Ukrainian troops are clueless about the reality of a battlefield environment, Ret. Lt. Col. Earl Rasmussen told Sputnik.
