Russian-Chinese cooperation in progress

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko has held talks with Deputy Premier of China’s State Council He Lifeng in Moscow. They discussed trade and economic cooperation, industrial development, and cooperation in the field of space.

Dmitry Chernyshenko noted that in the first half of 2024, bilateral trade turnover increased by 4.8% and amounted to $113 billion. He emphasized that Moscow is interested in the long-term development and strengthening of Russian-Chinese relations.

On Tuesday, Premier of China’s State Council Li Qiang will begin his visit to Russia, where he will hold talks with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and meet with President Vladimir Putin.
