Fact that Ukraine is cooperating with Sahel terrorists is not surprising, says Russian Foreign Ministry
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that the fact that Ukraine is cooperating with terrorists from the Sahel region is not surprising, and Russia actively draws the attention of the world community to such actions on the part of Ukraine.
She added that Ukraine regularly shells populated areas and civilian facilities, uses its population as a "human shield," and commits sabotage and political assassinations on Russian territory.
Mean while, the authorities of Mali and Mauritania are investigating the training of terrorists by Ukrainian instructors, the Senegalese edition of Senenews has reported.
It is noted that the Malian authorities immediately contacted their counterparts in Mauritania through diplomatic channels. Those, in turn, said that they are not involved in conflicts on the territory of Mali and do not support the alliance of rebel Tuareg Coordination of Movements of Azawad, the battles with which the Wagner Group had previously announced.
The Mauritanian authorities have also launched an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.

Russia's Iskander-M spent ‘month of major success’ erasing Ukrainian troops, armor and foreign mercs
Millions of dollars’ worth of military hardware and dozens of Ukrainian troops and foreign mercenaries in Kiev’s employment met an inglorious end this month due to incessant and merciless strikes by Iskander-M, as Military Watch Magazine labeled July as a "month of major success" for the Russian missile system.
Here is a brief recount of some of the most serious blows dealt to Ukraine’s NATO-backed war machine by Iskander this month:
▪️Some 7 Su-27 supersonic fighter aircraft belonging to Ukraine’s air force were taken out at an airfield in Mirgorod on July 1.
▪️One HIMARS multiple rocket launcher, five BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers, five tanks and ten armored vehicles were obliterated during a strike against a Ukrainian depot in Kramatorsk on July 26.
▪️Two Patriot surface-to-air missile launchers and a Giraffe radar were wiped out in the Odessa region on July 7, altogether with nearly 60 foreign “helpers” of the Ukrainian military also not surviving the strike.
▪️Up to 240 Ukrainian soldiers and over 60 armored vehicles provided by NATO were eliminated when two troop trains belonging to Kiev’s 41st brigade were hit near the city of Barvenkovo in the Kharkov region, with the footage of the strike been released on July 21.
▪️Another 50 foreign mercenaries in Kiev’s employment were snuffed out on July 23 in the Kharkov region.
▪️A command post of the Ukrainian Army’ 63rd Brigade and over 300 Ukrainian drones were wiped out on July 24.
▪️Up to 120 Ukrainian troops were killed and 20 military hardware pieces were destroyed when a Ukrainian troop train was hit in the Kharkov region on July 13.
These results serve as testament to the immense destructive power of Iskander missiles, with Russian military analyst Viktor Litovkin noting that the warhead of an Iskander ballistic missile weighs nearly half a tonne (480kg).

What's known so far about the IDF strike on Lebanon?
Earlier today, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that it carried out a strike on the Haret Hreik municipality in the Dahieh suburb south of Beirut, targeting a "commander responsible for the murder of the children in Majdal Shams and the killing of numerous additional Israeli civilians."
Here is the latest update:
◼️ Hezbollah sources said to Sputnik that the targeted Fuad Shukr survived. He is said to be the Hezbollah’ top brass military adviser, in charge of the movement's missile weapons project. At the same time, Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari claims Fuad Shukr was killed as the result of the strike.
◼️ Lebanon's Health Ministry said the attack killed three and wounded 74 people, as the spontaneous rally in Beirut emerged with the participants shouting “Revenge against the Zionists!”
◼️ Eyewitnesses in Beirut told Sputnik that the strike hit the area near Bahman Hospital in the Haret Hreik municipality.
◼️ The cabinet of ministers of Lebanon will convene a meeting on Wednesday morning to discuss the Israeli strike, the office of Lebanese Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati said.
