Biden delegated authorities under REPO for Ukraine to State Department and Treasury 

A memorandum on the delegation of certain functions and authorities, under the Rebuilding Economic Prosperity and Opportunity for Ukrainians Act, has appeared on the official site of the White House. 

The document says that Joe Biden delegated to the Secretary of the Treasury, and the Secretary of State, part of his powers provided for under the Rebuilding Economic Prosperity and Opportunity for Ukrainians Act. The act supporting Ukraine includes provisions on the confiscation of sovereign Russian assets, according to a White House document.

A ceremony was held in the Chinese capital of Beijing on July 23 to conclude the reconciliation dialogue between Palestinian factions; it was attended by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. Fatah and Hamas have signed a declaration ending their split and strengthening Palestinian unity.

Fatah and Hamas had earlier signed reconciliation agreements in Cairo, Egypt, in 2011 and 2017 to end a decade-long rift.

Problems of British Armed Forces far worse than thought — UK Defense Secretary

The British military has been facing serious challenges: hollowed-out forces, procurement waste, low morale, recruitment and retention crisis, and veterans who can't access the services they deserve, British Defense Secretary John Healey said in an interview with SkyNews.

After two weeks of being in government, "we now see that these problems are much worse than we thought," Healey revealed.

Former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny made his first speech as the Ambassador of Ukraine to Britain.

Top Dems deployed cloak and dagger to oust Biden from race, threatened him with 25th amendment – report

Joe Biden had to withdraw from the presidential race late last week after threats by high-ranking Democrats to forcibly remove him from office - the New York Post (NYP) reports, citing unnamed sources.

The well-orchestrated “palace coup” has been in place for weeks, with Biden fighting it “every step of the way”, the sources claimed, referring to “anger, paranoia and frustration” allegedly shown by the 46th US president, as the party elite piled pressure on him.

The top Democrats had threatened to invoke the 25th Amendment to the US Constitution to stop Biden from seeking re¬election, the insiders argued, recalling that the document authorizes the vice president, and members of the Biden administration, to declare the president unfit for service.

According to the insiders, part of the “elaborate” strategy to remove Biden from the presidential race involved permitting him to debate Donald Trump last month.

“That debate was a set-up to convince Democrats that he (Biden) couldn’t run for president,” one source insisted. POTUS’ disastrous performance during the 90-minute event shocked many in his party, prompting them to urge the 81-year-old to withdraw from the race.

❗️In Mariupol, two Russian citizens who had planned to set fire to a mosque in Russia's Belgorod region on instructions of the Ukrainian special services, have been detained, the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) reported.

The detainees have confessed; a criminal case has opened against them for the organization of a terrorist attack. 

The agency separately notes the crucial termination, of yet another attempt by Kiev, "to incite inter-confessional hostilities" on Russian territory.

Dancers refuse dress rehearsal in Olympics protest

With just four days to the Olympics opening, about 150 dancers are protesting against the "unequal treatment" of the artists. 

Approximately 300 temporary workers, out of 3,000 hires, reportedly work in "shameful conditions" without compensation. Meanwhile, artists from elsewhere other than Paris are paid for accommodation and salaries.
