Moscow and the Moscow region have been hit by significant storm with the Emergencies Ministry warning of lightening strikes, heavy rain, large hail and strong wind up to 56 mph (90 km/h). Moscow authorities recommended citizens use the subway to travel around the city during the worsening weather.

🇮🇷🗳 Voting in Iran's runoff presidential election Friday has ended, the Mehr news agency reported, citing the Guardian Council, which conducts supervision of elections in the country.

Polls were originally set to close at 6pm local time (14:30 GMT) but electoral authorities extended voting several times, with polling centers ultimately closing at midnight (20:30 GMT).

According to preliminary data, 30.5 million people have voted in Iran's presidential elections.
