βοΈ US Deep State interference in Ukraine forced Russia to respond to protect their Christian brothers in faith, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"In 2008, [the West] opened the door for Ukraine to join NATO. In 2014, they carried out a coup d'Γ©tat," said Putin, referring to the Euromaidan "color revolution" that saw the United States overthrow Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych through secret backing of violent protests and extremist armed groups.
The US threatened those who didn't accept the coup and endangered the citizens of Crimea amidst a war in the Donbass in 2014, using airstrikes and other military weapons to murder civilians. "There is video footage of airplanes striking Donetsk from above," Putin noted. "They launched one large-scale military operation after another. If one failed, they began preparing another one. And all of this occurred amid the military buildup on this territory and opening the door to NATO."
Putin said it would be "criminal carelessness" if they didn't respond to protect their "brothers in faith" in the Donbass and Crimea. "The US political leadership brought us to the brink of a line that we could not cross, because doing so would destroy Russia itself," he added. Putin refused to allow Christians and fellow ethnic Russians to be slaughtered by the war machine.

βοΈSending American troops to Ukraine would bring us to the brink of World War III and would threaten humanity itself, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an interview with Tucker Carlson.
Putin noted that the US has problems with its border, immigration and a staggering $33 trillion national debt, suggesting that the United States has more important priorities than creating a deadly war on the other side of the world.

βοΈThe emergence of a multipolar world order is inevitable, Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed in an interview with Tucker Carlson.
Putin said US elites have responded aggressively with "force, sanctions, pressure, bombing, and use of armed forces." He said such actions appear as "arrogance" to average people. Putin said that elites must understand that the world is changing, and the right decisions must be made in the right way at the right time to protect the US' position in the world.
Crude aggressive actions towards Russia and other countries "lead to the opposite result," said Putin.

Russia has a deep understanding of China, having shared a massive border with the country for hundreds of years, Russian President Vladimir Putin explained.
Putin made the comment in response to journalist Tucker Carlson's concern that China would represent an unforgiving "colonial power" and exercise influence through the BRICS economic bloc.
Putin claimed such fears could represent a "boogeyman story." He said cooperation with China has been good for Europe, Russia, and could be good for the United States. He said the US is hurting itself when it limits contact with the major economic power, especially through the passage of illegal coercive sanctions.

βοΈ Russian President Vladimir Putin told Tucker Carlson that it's difficult to defeat the United States in a war of propaganda because of their relative control over all of the world's media, including European media.
Putin was speaking in Russian and the quotes are from Carlson's official translation.
"In the war of propaganda, it is very difficult to defeat the United States because the United States controls all the world's media and many European media. The ultimate beneficiary of the biggest European media are American financial institutions. Don't you know that? So it is possible to get involved in this work, but it is cost prohibitive, so to speak. We can simply shine the spotlight on our sources of information and we will not achieve results," said Putin.

Russia was willing to comply with the implementation of the Minsk agreements, President Vladimir Putin said in an interview with US journalist Tucker Carlson.
The conflict between Russia and Ukraine was sparked by a CIA-backed coup in 2014, Putin said.
Russia would not have reacted if not for the βbloody developmentsβ of the killing of civilians and law enforcement officers during the so-called Maidan Revolution, Putin said.
Putin was speaking in Russian during the interview and the quotes are from Carlsonβs official translation in English.
βThe current Ukrainian leadership, foreign minister, all other officials and then president himself said that they don't like anything about the Minsk agreements,β Putin said in the interview, released on Thursday. βWe addressed the United States and European countriesβ leadership to stop these developments immediately, to implement the Minsk agreements. But frankly speaking, I didn't know how we were going to do this. But I was ready to implement them.β

βοΈ Russian President Vladimir Putin, responding to Tucker Carlson's question about joining NATO, said that Russia could have possibly joined the alliance.
"Were you sincere? Would you have joined NATO?" Carlson asked.
"Look, I asked the question, is it possible or not? And the answer I got was no. If I was insincere in my desire to find out what the leadership position was...." the president said.
"But if he had said yes, would you have joined NATO?" Carlson asked.
"If he had said yes, the process of rapprochement would have commenced, and eventually it might have happened if we had seen some sincere wish on the side of our partners," Putin said.

βThis also confuses me, but today's German leadership is guided by the interests of the collective West rather than its national interests. Otherwise, it is difficult to explain the logic of their action or inaction. After all, it is not only about Nord Stream one, which was blown up, and the Nord Stream two was damaged, but one pipe is safe and sound and gas can be supplied to Europe through it. But Germany does not open it. We are ready. Please.β
