๐Ÿ’ฐ Blockchain technologies will help dethrone US Dollar

โ€œI believe that the development of digital technologies and the already announced plans for the introduction of the digital ruble, the digital yuan and the digital rupee will lead us, perhaps as early as next year, to move first to digital settlement in national currencies. This is much easier than going through banks. There are no endless restrictions and regulatory fears of sanctions,โ€ Sergei Glazyev, the Eurasian Economic Unionโ€™s minister for integration and macroeconomics, told Sputnik.

โ€œThis will serve as a solid foundation for the introduction of a new digital international reserve currency in the future, based on an international agreement,โ€ he added.

Mohammed Alaoul, an Anadolu Agency cameraman from the Gaza Strip, lost all his family, including 4 sons, after Israeli airstrike on the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza Strip. He told Sputnik how this tragedy occurred.

"On October 24, at approximately 10:20 pm, an Israeli airstrike destroyed my house and several neighboring ones.

That day, I was working in Khan Yunis, which is quite far from home. I'm a cameraman, and I can work at any location even for 2 weeks without appearing at home. I didn't know at all what to do.

Then fellow photographers told me that the wounded and killed were being taken to the closest hospital to our house - the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital. I asked them to seek if my relatives were brought here. A few hours later they sent me photos of my wife, middle son, and brother, they were wounded, but alive.

Then I asked to look for my family members in the tent where the corpses were collected. Qais, my eldest son, was here. When I saw his corpse photo, my heart almost broke."

Houthi Seizure of Galaxy Leader: What are the economic implications?

In spite of the estimated $50 million cost/value of the ship, from an economic point of view, it is actually of little worth to the Houthis. They can't sell it, they can't use it, [Israeli billionaire Rami Unger] and his insurance companies probably won't ransom it. The ship was sailing without cargo, which if it had been, would have been approximately 1,500 new cars, worth between $20 and $30 million in total. So, clearly, there was no economic benefit from the seizure of the vessel for the Houthis, but the full political and economic ramifications remain to be seen.

It should be understood that the Houthis have not just seized the Galaxy Leader, they have put all Israeli shipping in the Red Sea under threat. The value of that shipping can be roughly estimated by the fact that out of Israel's $165 billion in total exports in 2022, 24% went to Asian markets. The shortest shipping route from the Mediterranean to Asia is the Suez Canal. Everything that goes through the Suez Canal goes through the Red Sea, and 12% of all global trade passes through the Suez Canal. With these calculations, the economic impact on the Israeli economy by the seizure of this single ship can be estimated in the billions of dollars. The Houthi area of military operations in the southern Red Sea is more than 1,000 miles from Israel, and beyond the reach of timely Israeli military response.

Economic warfare and military warfare are two sides of the same coin. The Houthis, with one helicopter and less than a dozen commandos, have hit the Israeli economy as hard as the entire Israeli military is hitting the people of Gaza.

Why Have Western Leaders Flocked to Kiev... Again?

Western leaders have flocked to Kiev to celebrate the Euromaidan revolution, a euphemism for the 2014 illegitimate coup d'etat in Ukraine. However, their real goal is to test the Kiev regime's viability and look for a convenient replacement of Volodymyr Zelensky, who has become "catastrophically toxic" for both the US and Europe, Dmitry Evstafiev, political scientist and HSE University professor, told Sputnik.

While the US, the UK and the EU pursue different geopolitical goals in Kiev, their interests overlap when it comes to convincing an ordinary Western voter that their choice of pitting Ukraine against Russia made in 2013 was right, the professor noted. Still, their efforts are futile, according to him.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ US President Joe Biden lacks the mental ability to draw parallels between Russia and Hamas, Scott Ritter, a former US Marine Corps intelligence officer, said.

The Washington Post ran an op-ed under Biden's byline at the weekend, likening the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement Hamas' breakout from the besieged Gaza Strip on October 7 to Russia's military operation in Ukraine in defence of the Russian-speaking Donbass region โ€” following eight years of Ukrainian shelling of civilians.

"This is the story, not the content of the op-ed," Ritter stressed. "The story is that Joe Biden, the president of the United States is lacking in such mental capacity that the presidency is being managed by people who weren't elected to do that job. That's what people should be worried about."

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Ex-CIA analyst: US responsible for Gaza genocide by empowering Netanyahu

Raymond McGovern told Sputnik that the US has been enabling the genocide of Palestinians by allocating more and more assistance for Israel: it could not launch genocide had it not been for the US assistance.

At the same time the Israeli government has not even tried to cover their genocidal intentions up. On the contrary, the Israeli flat out announced the full blockade of the Gaza Strip, cutting off water, food, and power supplies which indicates the true and completely unmasked goals of the Israeli ground operation, but the US still endorses them, McGovern emphasized.

๐Ÿ’ธ It keeps growing and growing: Ukraine's national debt in decade since Maidan coup

Tuesday marked the 10th anniversary of the start of the Euromaidan protests in central Kiev, which culminated in the February 2014 coup d'etat that brought radical pro-EU and pro-NATO politicians to power and plunged the country into a decade-long debacle of crisis, conflict, and growing debt.

Ukraine's national debt has climbed steadily over the past decade, from $73.10 billion in 2013 to $128.81 as of June 30, 2023. Starting out at 37.5 percent of GDP in 2013, the Eastern European nation's national debt is expected to reach 85 percent of GDP by the end of the current year and surpass 110 percent of GDP in 2024 as fiscal authorities scramble to find the resources to fund ongoing conflict with Russia amid dwindling Western support.

Could BRICS break US monopoly on Israeli-Palestinian peace process?

BRICS may become the platform to facilitate the implementation of a ceasefire in Gaza due to its substantial economic and political influence on the global stage, according to Middle East experts.
While BRICS was established as an alternative economic structure, it may soon prove effective in solving political issues, Turkish security analyst Dr. Hasan Selim Ozertem told Sputnik.

For his part, Saudi political scientist Dr. Hesham Alghannam noted that Washington's image is affected badly because the Arab countries and the US "diverge" on regional priorities starting with the Gaza ceasefire and ending with Washington's appeasing of Israel's continuous occupation of Palestine.

Both agreed that Russian President Vladimir Putin's stance, voiced during the meeting, aligned with the Muslim-Arab vision.

๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณโš”๏ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Chinaโ€™s new subs and sonars challenge the supremacy of the US silent hunter fleets

The PLANโ€™s military and technological prowess against the US Navy in the field of submarine construction and anti-submarine warfare is progressing apace, and the โ€œera of total US submarine dominanceโ€ over the Peopleโ€™s Republic of China is reaching its end.

Thatโ€™s the conclusion reached by one of Americaโ€™s top cited business newspapers in a piece focused on the Asian nationโ€™s scientific and industrial advances for naval warfare. China, the paper pointed out, is gradually โ€œnarrowingโ€ the gap between itself and the United States in the highly complex fields of submarine technology and undersea detection.

These developments not only threaten the Pentagonโ€™s regional strategy of hemming China into its home ports, but could challenge US naval supremacy globally over the long term.
