๐ต๐ธ๐บ๐ธ๐ฎ๐ฑ US moves blocking Gaza peace puts Hezbollah under 'tremendous pressure'
โI think the Palestinian resistance and Hamas in particular are hoping that there will be a more aggressive response, a deeper penetration into or an attempt at least to address the presence of Israeli soldiers along the border and actually in parts of Lebanon,โ international human rights activist, organizer and political analyst Ajamu Baraka told Sputnik, commenting on key points of Nasrallahโs fiery speech on Friday.
Baraka expects to see โpolitical blowbackโ against Washington across the world and inside the US itself, suggesting that Americaโs credibility has been heavily damaged through its stalwart support for Israel throughout the present crisis.

โPeople are really outraged by what they see. Many people are concluding that with the diplomatic channels being blocked by the US โ and the criticism that [Nasrallah] raised was in fact true, that when you have the US blocking any attempts to come to a ceasefire or to have a more effective humanitarian corridor, itโs quite clear that the US is fully implicated in the slaughter of Palestinians. So itโs putting tremendous pressure on everyone to act, and to act, at this point in a military fashion since the diplomatic and peaceful channels seem to have been preempted,โ the observer emphasized.

๐ฏ๐ต Japan may โsacrificeโ its own defense industry interests in favor of US as it cuts costs
A collapse in the yen is forcing Japan to scale back a historic five-year plan costing 43.5 trillion yen ($290Bln).
One of the goals of boosting defense spending was the desire to promote the development of the national defense industry by expanding purchases of products made by Japanese companies for the self-defense forces. However, by all accounts, "this is exactly what the Japanese will have to economize on now," Oleg Paramonov, Senior Researcher of the Institute for International Studies told Sputnik.
Japan will probably sacrifice the interests of its own defense industry in favor of continued purchases of American weapons, said the expert.
