๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ Europe's migration problem could bring down governments, Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg said on Saturday, adding that Austria now has the highest per capita burden of migration in continental Europe.

Germany should also discuss measures to combat illegal migration, Schallenberg said, adding that the deportation issue is an "Achilles' heel" of the European Union's asylum system.

To deal with the problem, European countries should put much more pressure on migrants' countries of origin and use the European Unionโ€™s influence, Schallenberg said.

"This means that we must question EU customs preferences or visa facilitation and adjust development aid for countries that do not cooperate with us on repatriation. But that's not all. First, we need a proper defense of our external borders," Schallenberg said.

๐Ÿช An ancient planet may have rammed into Earth about 4.5 billion years ago, leaving its remnants still lodged inside, a new study has claimed

Material detected near Earthโ€™s core under swathes of Africa and the Pacific Ocean as far back as in the 1980s could be remnants of that celestial orb, named Theia, according to scientists at the California Institute of Technology. Furthermore, what was left of the impact resulted in the formation of the Moon.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธโš”๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ NATO proxy war against Russia hurts the world economy, and the mideast crisis could finish it off

The latest explosion of violence in the decades-old Palestinian-Israeli crisis witnessed on October 7 threatens to wreck the global economy, with countries which are already hobbling along economically thanks to the ongoing NATO proxy war against Russia in Ukraine facing a new danger: $150 per barrel oil.

In its quarterly Commodity Markets Outlook report this week, the World Bank warned that energy and food prices will face a โ€œdual shockโ€ if the war in Gaza continues, pointing out that the crisis comes on the heels of the Ukraine conflict, which already saw โ€œthe biggest shock to commodity markets since the 1970s.โ€

๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ China has urged the United States to respect China's territorial sovereignty and stop interfering in maritime disputes among regional countries, as well as to play a constructive role in ensuring regional peace and stability, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said on Saturday.

On Friday, China and the US held the first round of consultations in Beijing on maritime affairs, co-chaired by Director-General of the Department of Boundary and Ocean Affairs of the Chinese Foreign Ministry Hong Liang, and US State Department China Coordinator Mark Lambert.
"The parties had a frank, in-depth and constructive exchange of views on issues such as maritime security, the โ€˜maritime economyโ€™ and the environment," the ministry said.

Both countries stressed the need to strengthen dialogue and interaction, and monitor the situation at sea, while avoiding misjudgments and developing mutually beneficial cooperation, as cited in the Chinese Foreign Ministry's statement.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ณ The US and Britain vote against a UN resolution condemning neo-nazism

The UN General Assembly has adopted a consensus landmark resolution that censures the increasing incidence of neo-Nazism, racial discrimination, and other manifestations of hate, despite notable dissent from key Western nations, including Second World War allies such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada.

The assembly witnessed the passage of the resolution by a vote of 111 in favor to 50 against, with 14 abstentions, addressing โ€œthe persistence and resurgence of neo-Nazism, neo-Fascism, and violent nationalist ideologies based on racial and national prejudice.โ€

The report raises alarms over the increased extent to which people revere individuals and groups associated with Nazism, notably former combatants of the Waffen SS and similar factions that opposed the Allied forces in the Second World War, without attributing the issue to any specific nation.

We will not accept attempts to justify these actions as a legitimate right to self-defense," Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry said during a joint press conference with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Al Safadi.

Al Safadi, in turn, noted that other Arab countries also refuse to consider Israel's actions in the Gaza Strip as self-defense.

๐Ÿช– Ukraine's top general Zaluzhnyi is an โ€˜unrepentant fascist who has been heroized and lionized by the Western media,โ€™ international relations and security analyst Mark Sleboda told Sputnik.

โ€œThe Economist has had him on the cover, before [that] Time has had him on the cover. In fact thereโ€™s a lot of evidence that the West is actually seeking next year to replace Zelensky with Zaluzhnyi as the president of the Kiev regime. The man is an open, unrepentant Banderite fascist. He has released images of his office. In his office, he has two busts and a poster featuring Stepan Bandera, the World War II-era Nazi collaborator and fascist ideologue who led the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists and Ukrainian Insurgent Army to fight alongside, often in the ranks of the SS with Nazi Germany and commit the Holocaust and atrocities against Jews, but also atrocities against Poles, against leftists, against ethnic Russians, against east Ukrainians who didnโ€™t want a Banderite fascist Ukraineโ€ฆAnd he also has a bust of Roman Shukhevych [another top Ukrainian Insurgent Army leader, ed.]. Thatโ€™s because one bust of Bandera is not enough.โ€
