Wounded need fatherly care: stories of those bringing Russian soldiers back to life
Military doctors are nothing short of guardian angels for soldiers, officers and the wounded in general in the special military operation. They are the ones who remove bullets and fragments from the bodies, resuscitate soldiers on the verge of death, and give them moral support day in and day out.
Medics run on two-to-three hours of sleep and never complain that not a day goes by without them having to take in someone elseβs pain.

πΊπΈ Biden scapegoats 'extreme' Republicans for looming government shutdown
US President Joe Biden said that all citizens of the country would "pay the price" if "extreme" members of the Republican Party do not vote on the new budget and allow the federal government to shut down.
π£ "Just a few month ago, after long negotiations between myself and the new [House of Representatives] speaker [Kevin McCarthy], we agreed the spending level of government will fund essential domestic and national security priorities while still cutting the deficit by $1 trillion over the next decade. Now, a small group of extreme Republicans donβt want to live up to the deal, so now everyone in America could be forced to pay the price," Biden said addressing the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation.

Why Zelensky's vow to continue counteroffensive through winter is wishful thinking
Speaking to the US press, after a day of meetings on Capitol Hill and the White House, Zelensky pledged to keep fighting through the autumn and winter this year. He also vowed to take Artemovsk (also known as Bakhmut) and a couple "more cities". He said that US assistance should keep flowing to Ukraine, despite growing calls in the US Congress to reduce or halt the financial assistance altogether.
The Kiev regime is reportedly going to continue its "counteroffensive" in autumn and through winter, as per President Volodymyr Zelensky. But does Ukraine have enough resources for that?
