The ban on imports of Ukraineโ€™s agricultural products slapped by Slovakia, Hungary and Poland could cost Kiev up to $230 million a month, statistical data from these three countries show

Ukraine may suffer the most significant losses - 112 million per month - due to the Polish embargo pertaining to imports of Ukrainian wheat, corn, wheat flour, rapeseed, sunflower seeds, as well as some types of seed cake, according to the statistics.

Last week, the European Commission lifted its ban on Ukrainian grain imports, in a move that prompted Slovakia, Hungary and Poland to unilaterally extend their own embargo, citing farmersโ€™ concerns.

Washington wonโ€™t be able to remove China from the critical minerals supply chain

Chinaโ€™s important role in the processing of raw minerals means that Beijing will remain a key US partner, not least because those minerals are crucial components for the batteries that power electric vehicles (EVs), according to US Under Secretary for Economic Growth and Environment Jose Fernandez.

Earlier this year, Beijing banned the export of rare earth metals such as gallium and germanium, which are used in the manufacturing of advanced microchips and solar batteries. The move came in response to Washingtonโ€™s efforts to cut Beijing out of the high-tech economic race.

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ On the real enemy of the American people:

โ€œThe people who are hoarding all our resources. We have this rich group of people in America that are hoarding all of our resources...The people that are our enemies are really this globalist class of finance capital that are sucking out every last bit of breath from the American public in the working class. For anyone who thinks that Russia or China or whoever is our enemy, they're sorely mistaken. Your enemy is Wall Street, World Economic Forum, DC, Beltway region and the city of London,โ€ Jackson Hinkle, host of The Dive, told Sputnik.

Wounded need fatherly care: stories of those bringing Russian soldiers back to life

Military doctors are nothing short of guardian angels for soldiers, officers and the wounded in general in the special military operation. They are the ones who remove bullets and fragments from the bodies, resuscitate soldiers on the verge of death, and give them moral support day in and day out.

Medics run on two-to-three hours of sleep and never complain that not a day goes by without them having to take in someone elseโ€™s pain.

Sputnik has drawn up this report covering the everyday life of the Medical Battalion of the 150th Motor Rifle Division.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Biden scapegoats 'extreme' Republicans for looming government shutdown

US President Joe Biden said that all citizens of the country would "pay the price" if "extreme" members of the Republican Party do not vote on the new budget and allow the federal government to shut down.

๐Ÿ—ฃ "Just a few month ago, after long negotiations between myself and the new [House of Representatives] speaker [Kevin McCarthy], we agreed the spending level of government will fund essential domestic and national security priorities while still cutting the deficit by $1 trillion over the next decade. Now, a small group of extreme Republicans donโ€™t want to live up to the deal, so now everyone in America could be forced to pay the price," Biden said addressing the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ US lawmaker decries Pentagon's requesting aid for Ukraine while own troops kept 'in filth'

US Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene said on Sunday that she would not vote for a new package of military aid for Ukraine because, among other things, the conditions of the United States' own military barracks do not meet standards and troops are being treated "worse than garbage."

๐Ÿ—ฃ "Bidenโ€™s Department of Defense has U.S. military service members living in filth and squalor on our own bases while they demand more money for Ukraine! Iโ€™m not voting to fund war while our own troops are treated worse than garbage!" Greene said on X, formerly known as Twitter, commenting on the recent inspections by the US Government Accountability Office that detected sewage spillouts, broken air conditioners, mold, cockroaches and the presence of homeless people in the military barracks.
