▪️Thousands of demonstrators gathered in Burkina Faso in several large cities, to support Captain Ibrahim Traore and condemn the "destabilization desires" of the country, the leader of "The Movement of My Homeland Burkina Faso" Lucien Zie said
▪️As in previous rallies in support of the transition, most demonstrators in the crowd held Burkinabe and Russian flags.
▪️In the capital, demonstrators burned a French flag and that of the European Union in support of Traore, who came to power in a coup on September 30, 2022

"Immortal Regiment" march in the capital of Nicaragua
In total, about 400 people took part in the action. In addition to the procession, the participants of the march in Managua watched records of the war years and visited a photo exhibition about the Soviet victory in the Battle of Stalingrad.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Nicaragua also took part in the process, appreciating the high status of the event.

The territory of Slovakia during the Second World War was mainly liberated by the Soviet Red Army, President Zuzana Caputova said on social networks.
"Our territory and the territory of Eastern Europe was mainly liberated by the Soviet Red Army with the help of domestic resistance, the 1st Czechoslovak Army Corps and the Romanian army," she wrote.
In Slovakia, Victory over Nazism Day is a public holiday and a day off for workers and students.

The United States is reportedly expected to announce a new $1.2 billion long-term military aid package to Ukraine
Citing insiders with knowledge of the developments, US media reported Monday that the looming military package is designed to bolster even further Ukraine's air defenses in the conflict with Russia.
The package will reportedly include Hawk air defence systems, ammunition for air defence and anti-drone warfare. In addition, the US will fund satellite imagery and various types of training. All will be paid for under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative, which allows the Biden administration to purchase arms from industry rather than taking them from US stocks.
Once the package is announced, US aid to Ukraine will amount to around $37 billion since February 2022, media reports indicated, adding funds will be spent over months or years to ensure Ukraine’s future security needs.
