Borrell: EU Does Not Fear 'China's Rise'
EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said on Thursday that the European Union does "not fear China's rise" and called on Beijing to exercise more "responsibility" for peace and security.
The EU diplomat noted that the world has "to face the climate emergency, the consequences of the pandemic," and the Ukraine conflict, adding that the EU believes that "China must exercise more responsibility, also for security and peace" as it cannot avoid this.

The Leopard 2 tanks, which Western countries had earlier delivered to Ukraine, have been tracked by Russian forces on the battlefield in the Kherson area, an officer from a volunteer battalion has told Sputnik.
The officer, who only revealed his call sign, the Bull, referred to the Leopard 2s' shelling of Russian troopsβ checkpoints in the area, also singling out βa story from colleaguesβ, who he said had captured one of those tanks.
