Ukrainian agent and his assistant have been detained for spying on the number of Russian armed forces in the Kherson region

💬 "The FSB has detained an agent of the Ukrainian special services and a person who collected information about the locations and the number of units of the Russian armed forces in the Kherson region at his instructions," the Russian Federal Security Service said in a statement.

▪️ Data on the routes of movement and types of military equipment and weapons used in the special operation with reference to maps of the area and geographical coordinates were sent to the staff of the Security Service of Ukraine via internet messengers, the statement added.

▪️ Kiev used the obtained information to transfer it to representatives of the paramilitary formations of Ukraine in order to correct artillery and missile and bomb attacks on the positions of the Russian forces.

China Warns Australia Against Treating TikTok ‘Differently From Other Social Media Platforms’

The Chinese Commerce Ministry has lashed out at Australia over its move to ban TikTok from all federal government-owned devices, adding that the decision affected the interests of both Australian businesses and the public.

Earlier this week, Australia banned use of the Chinese video-sharing app TikTok on government electronic devices, following similar measures undertaken by Western countries over security concerns.

Prince Harry, Meghan to Skip Charles III Coronation as Children Not Invited

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not attend the coronation of Charles III next month as their children have not been invited and the palace has rejected the couple's request to sing "Happy Birthday" to their son Archie from the royal balcony on the same day, British broadcaster reported on Friday.

The coronation of Charles III and his wife Camilla will take place on May 6 in Westminster Abbey. In March, it was reported that Harry and Meghan's son Archie and daughter Lilibet had not been invited.

▪️Russia's part of the Black Sea grain deal is not fulfilled at all, which requires the West to ease restrictions on Russian agricultural and fertilizer exports. Obstacles remain and are even tightened;

▪️Russia will reevaluate the necessity of the grain deal if there is no progress on fulfillment of the Russian part;

▪️The settlement process between Palestinians and Israel has been pushed far back, Moscow stands for direct dialogue between the parties.

▪️Both parties discussed the construction of a gas hub in Turkey and the work of the Akkuyu nuclear power plant.

Blinken Admits US's Lack of Preparedness for Hasty Afghanistan Withdrawal

The rapid fall of Kabul in 2021 took the United States by surprise and showed deficiencies in the US State Department's preparedness for the worst-case scenario in Afghanistan, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has said.

"This [the fall of Kabul] was seen as a very low probability, but obviously, potentially very high impact event and more could and should have been done to prepare for it," Blinken said.
