Germany, Sweden, Denmark Step Up Cooperation on Nord Stream Investigation

Germany, Sweden and Denmark have established cooperation and stepped up information exchange on the investigation of explosions on the Nord Stream pipelines, the local newspaper reported on Saturday, citing security sources.

The countries initially planned to investigate the blasts as part of a joint investigation team, but Sweden and Denmark withdrew from the group citing privacy concerns, the report said.

โ˜ฆ๏ธ The house arrest of the vicegerent of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra has been issued under false accusations and represents yet another example of lawlessness in Ukraine, the spokesman for the Russian Orthodox Church, Vladimir Legoyda, said on Saturday.

โณ Earlier in the day, Lavra vicegerent Metropolitan Bishop Pavel said he had been sentenced to house arrest and summoned for interrogation over alleged collaboration with Russia and incitement of inter-religious hatred for criticizing the schismatic Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU).

๐Ÿ’ฌ "The placement of Metropolitan Pavel under house arrest on far-fetched accusations is, alas, a natural continuation of the lawlessness being exercised today by the Ukrainian authorities. Such is the 'dialogue' with representatives of the largest Christian denomination in Ukraine," Legoyda said on Telegram.

๐Ÿ’ฌ "More than 515 patients were admitted to hospitals in Baghdad and the provinces with breathing problems of varying severity due to the dust storm that occurred yesterday [Friday] in the regions of the country," Saif al-Badr told local news broadcaster, adding that the patients received all necessary medical assistance and most of them had already been discharged.

๐Ÿ“ Al-Badr emphasized that no fatal cases were reported and ambulances were constantly on standby to assist those in need.

โ›ฝ๏ธ Gas stations in France are still experiencing fuel shortages amid ongoing strikes at the country's oil refineries, with 30% of service stations in the รŽle-de-France region in the countryโ€™s north, commonly called the Paris Region, lacking at least one type of fuel, BFMTV reported, adding that 30% of filling stations in Paris and the Paris Region are either completely out of fuel or lack one or more types of it.

๐Ÿ›ข In particular, over 40% of gas pumps in the Val-de-Marne department of Ile-de-France reportedly have problems with fuel supplies.

๐Ÿ“‰ According to an online service for tracking fuel shortages, around 1,100 gas stations across France are short of the most popular types of gasoline, namely, SP95 and SP98, and diesel, while 250 gas pumps are completely empty, meaning that gas shortages still affect around 10% of all the countryโ€™s gas stations.
